CNN to be renamed Missing News Network

ATLANTA -- CNN Worldwide President Jeff Zucker today announced that the network would be rebranded and relaunched next week as the Missing News Network.

Given the ratings success of the network's nonstop coverage of the missing Malaysian Airlines flight 370, Zucker said, the network now plans to cover nothing but missing flights, missing children, poop ships missing from ports, missing fugitives, missing juries, missing lottery winners, and, whenever possible, missing blonde American women.

"Facts are a commodity," Zucker said. "We have come to realize that other networks and the internet and even Twitter will all have the news. There's nothing new in that. So here at MNN, we will concentrate on what they don't have: unanswered questions and boundless speculation."

Media analysts pointed out that it is difficult to fill 24 hours of programming with a few known facts that do no change for days or even weeks, but CNN has shown that it is easy to fill that time with nothing.

Rumors are circulating in media circles that Zucker hopes to replace Piers Morgan, whose show ended last night, with his network's answer to Jon Stewart's Daily Show. He is reported to be negotiating with Jerry Seinfeld to host a new Show About Nothing.

Other programming in the works reportedly includes The Milk Carton Show, Don Lemon's Black Hole Hour, Richard Quest Shouts About Nothing, and Wolf Blitzer Kills Time.

The network's new slogan: "We don't know, so you don't know."

"If it's missing news," Zucker said, "we're there."

I should of known using Priceline's Name Your Own Price Feature would get me in a debacle. I usually stay at the Sheraton (you'll understand why soon enough) but clicked the wrong star rating. Trust me there is a BIG difference between 3.5 stars and 4.0 stars. I booked this room for my mom, she travels often between Virginia and NYC and like I said our NORMAL hotel is the Sheraton down the street. N-e hoo, my mom checked in a head of me and when I arrived I was greeted by a sorta pleasant front desk attendant. Offered to help me with my bags (+1.0 star.) Went to the elevator and immediately jumped on one, not realizing the Marriott has these "new tech savy" elevators. You press your floor--the elevator comes--elevator takes you directly to the floor you pressed. This would be awesome BUT your floor selection happens OUTSIDE of the elevator. So, if you don't press your floor you end up going to everyone elses floor. Causing you to then get off and start the process all over again. I have faith it can be efficient-- just not right now (-0.25) Finally, I reached my floor and upon walking to my room, I started feeling like I was in the YMCA bathrooms back when I was little. You know that chlorine heavy smell that let's you know it's time to rinse your skin off before going to swim laps. Moving along (-0.25) Get to my room and the smell has multiplied by 20! So why did our room smell like a public pool? Oh, because our room, although it had a balcony, was facing the indoor pool. Marriott your fancy indoor jungle pool is no-where near similar to the Embassy Suites indoor aquatics/leisure pool area (-0.25) I'm starting to forget why I gave it 2 stars. By this point I just want to shower and lay down and catch up with my mum. Now, my mother and I are connoisseur's of luxury bedding and linens. We like fluffy oversized pillow, white sheets, filled comforters--you get the point. Obviously, you can't expect too much from hotel beds. Especially with the countless amount of people sleeping in them. However, the Sheraton obviously knows what a good bed feels like (they give you at least 4-6 pillows.) Maybe that's why some of the staff looks so tired, they sleeping on soggy mashed potato beds. Yes, that's EXACTLY what it felt like--soggy mashed potato's. I would keep going but I think you get my point re: this stay. Basically, I gave two stars--one for the guy who checked me and one for the guy who gave me a new room on the elite floor--they had more pillows and a fridge in that room. My advice: stay away.

In honor of a good friends birthday, the ladies & I attended a Saturday brunch. Upon walking in, I noticed the open kitchen towards the rear and the bars floating liquor fixture. This was definitely my kind of place. I examined the bar a bit, all while finding a cute bartender (loved his accent.) We were seated at large open booth with more than ENOUGH space for our coats and bags. I truly had a hard time deciding on what I wanted because, honestly I just wanted to try everything. Since I did not have breakfast, I decided on the gruyere, bacon & mushroom omelet. It came with a side of hearty multi-grain toast. We shared a mixed green salad covered in a delicious champagne vinaigrette. My mimosa had just enough liquid courage and just enough OJ to give me the giggles. Overall, I loved the ambiance, decor and comfy seating. I think my omelet lacked a little flavor but it served it's purpose! I wonder what the night scene is like...

I wasn't sure what to expect when a friend suggested this establishment for lunch. Blue Bell surpassed my expectations. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with salad; it was delicious! Not too saucy, but coated with enough sauce to bring the flavor out. Our waiter was excellent especially because his french has us under a trance. Definitely recommend this place for Brunch!

The food here is decent in comparison to the Spanish/Caribbean food uptown (Caridad & Malecon). The baked chicken and rice & beans are good. The lunch specials are reasonably priced but it main entrees are a little bit expensive compared to other restaurants serving the same items. Some of the food lacks the traditional Dominican flavoring but considering there are really noother restaurants offering this menu/food, this place is your next best bet..

Luke warm BBQ chicken pizza, rude customer service. Doesn't remind me of New York City pizza places. Please work on these things!

After wrapping up a photo shoot near-by the crew decided to grab a quick bite to eat. Boy! were we amazed with the delicious brunch special and the heavy mimosa's. I ordered the chicken and waffles-fried chicken was cooked to perfection and the waffles were nice, fluffy and light. One crew member ordered the Rum French Toast with caramelized bananas. I took a bite and was in awe of the flavors. My only issue is the short bench space at the booth tables. However, I would definitely recommend this place for brunch...I hope they add a bottomless mimosa special again.

Small, romantic, low-key place serving delicious food. I can tell they take the time to prepare your meal. My steak was cooked to perfection (medium-well) and my roasted potato's were crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. If I am correct they specialize in whiskey and bourbon. BE AWARE some of the liquor is $100 a ounce. We learned the hard way. However, after the waiter saw that we obviously were unaware of the price he deducted one drink accordingly. Overall--great!
