Children in the Koreshan Unity play "Bees in Flowerland" at Bamboo Landing. 1908. Black & white photoprint. State Archives of Florida, Florida Memory. Accessed 13 Sep. 2016.<https://www.floridamemory.com/items/show/255444>.

The early #Koreshans brought culture to #Estero Florida, when it was a sleepy backwater #Florida community whose main highway was the #EsteroRiver. This is just one of many theatrical productions the community produced, many of which were attended by the families of #ThomasEdison and #HenryFord, both of whom wintered in nearby #FortMyers Florida.
