A Winter Storm Warning Remains In Effect Until 4 Pm Est Wednesday.

* Areas Affected: Southeast Virginia And Northeast North Carolina.

* Hazards: Snow And Blowing Snow.

* Accumulations: 6 To 12 Inches.

* Winds: North Winds 15 To 25 Mph With Gusts Up To 35 Mph.

* Timing: Snow Will Become Mixed With Sleet This Evening...Then Change To All Snow After Midnight. Precipitation Rates Will Become Moderate To Heavy At Times Tonight Into Early Wednesday Morning.

* Impacts: Roads Will Become Snow Covered And Icy Due To Temperatures Below Freezing And Accumulating Snowfall/Sleet. The Combination Of Snow And Gusty Winds Will Produce Areas Of Blowing Snow That Will Reduce Visibilities Below One Half Mile At Times. Dangerous Travel Conditions Will Occur Tonight And Continue Into Wednesday Afternoon.
