Yes - this.  A number of times yesterday I stated that the global marketing channels need to be reserved for marketing globally.

Also, it's people that have emotions, not brands.  I can totally get that everyone at General Mills HQ were feeling down yesterday with the news, but let's see them talking about their feelings via their personal channels, and not 'Cheerios' expressing that it feels sad.  We don't get to hear what it sounds like when the Cheerios cry because Cheerios don't have feelings.  Had the CMO or brand manager or President of the company pushed a message out from their account and the brand account RT'd it, I don't think there'd have been any backlash at all.

I nabbed a copy of Manga Studio 5 for under $20 during a recent sale.  This is my first time giving it a spin and I have to say that I'm impressed with the software.  Intuitive to use, and giving me a nice quality of line.

This is my ongoing tackling of the 'monster girl challenge' ... day 16's subject matter was 'ghost', so I've pitted the new lineup of Ghostbusters against Pearl.  I don't think it will turn out well for Pearl - sorry Spooky.

Jesus, Joel !!!

2 years ago, The Last of Us hit the shelves.  If you've not seen it yet, it really is a beautiful game with an engaging story.   (love this vid of Seth Rogen playing the first 10 min https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tT9U_sXsKAg)

I've been mucking about with the latest version of Corel Painter.  It's been a couple years since I made digital art and figured the best way to push the free trial period for all it's worth was to hop on to a drawing challenge.

This was day two of the 30 days monster girl challenge (draw a centaur).  So I chose The Last Unicorn facing off against Red Bull as my subject matter.  Overall I'm happy with the drawing, moderately satisfied with the inks but have mixed feelings about the colours.  My tumblr and deviantart accounts are where the steady stream of art will land, but I'll be kicking the odd one up to G+ and Facebook.

When I went to present this at PodCamp Toronto, my laptop decided then and there was the right time to update Windows.  As a result the deck never loaded and the audience was spared my attempt at Seussian rhyming.  But gluttons for punishment can now find it online...
