Are you #glutenintolerant or eating dietetic or 'special' foods?

Dietetic foods are aimed to satisfy the special nutritional needs of:
- infants,
- children up to 3 years old,
- overweight or obese people &
- people with specific medical conditions.

The EU set up a New Regulation on Food for Specific Groups which will apply from 20 July 2016.

It aims to protect specific groups of consumers by regulating the content and marketing of these "special" food products offered to them.

It publishes or co-publishes the publications in the context of the communication activities of the institutions.

Moreover, the Publications Office offers a number of online services giving free access to information on EU law (EUR-Lex), EU publications (EU Bookshop), EU open data (EU Open Data Portal), public procurement (TED), and EU research results (CORDIS).
