I visited yesterday, my third visit, and it was amazing. Every dish is delicious and the owner was super friendly and generous. Thank you for your kind greeting on the way in and out. We will be back soon!!

My husband and I tried this place last night for a very rare "date night". We're both full time working parents of a 1 1/2 year old with another on the way, so these nights are coveted. I had read amazing reviews of this restaurant and was excited to go. We consider ourselves "foodies" and have been to most of the high end restaurants in the area. When we arrived, right on time for our reservation, we stood at the host station for about 3 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. We were seated in a very small side room, which didn't give us much of the restaurant ambience, but was okay. We started with the Mussel app, which was decent, a creamy, white broth, but nothing special. We also ordered the cheesy bread, which was amazing. I could have just eaten that the whole night and have been happy! My husband had the hanger steak with mashed potatoes, again just ok, potatoes very bland and nothing special. I had the diver scallops with shrimp fried rice. It was very salty, the rice wasn't anything I couldn't get at a Chinese or Thai restaurant and the scallops were again, just ok. Our server was very dry and short, did his job, but not personable. Honestly, I really wanted to go crazy over this restaurant, but it just didn't do it for us. Maybe it was what we ordered? I wouldn't say I'd never go back, but with a number of really great restaurants in and around Hartford and West Hartford, this wouldn't be a top spot for me. Maybe we'll try again in the future.

Garlic cheese bread is good. Waitress was good but very busy. Rose's pasta also good. But don't let them seat you near the divider between the bar and the tables if you want to be able to hear yourself think.

The staff is AMAZING. The staff is nothing short of perfect and your food is too! They will remember you by name and you can't forget theirs either! Dale, Jimmy, Bill, Rosie, and the rest... are unforgettable and their standards clearly go above and beyond any of their neighbors. Kudos Salute!

Wonderful wonderful experience here! I had a 7:30 reservation and we arrived around 7:40, but they weren't able to seat us until around 7:50 because a large party was sitting around a lot longer than expected. The manager came over several times to apologize, and immediately when he sat us, he offered me free wine and my boyfriend free beer. The dinner was delicious and came out quickly. My boyfriend asked for bread to dip in his pasta sauce, and they gladly brought a whole loaf out of delicious bread. At the end, they gave us a whole bag of free biscotti to take home AND another free loaf of garlic bread! Great location (right on the park, with indoor or outdoor seating), great food, and GREAT customer service! This restaurant has put in a lot of effort to earn every 5 star rating they got on here.

Every time I go, I'm just so happy I went. Favorites....Pork tenderloin with sweet potatoes and green beans. Sweet potato ravioli incredible. The bread is a little gooey warm slice of comfort. Never had a bad glass of house wine....and The best part? Jimmy!! He makes me and the rest of the group feel like we're THE only customers he has. Love it!
