Bottom line: over priced, slow service, dirty booths and bar. First of all, I am not someone who is a picky eater or a complainer on a daily basis. I'm all about second chances too. First time I ate at Hideaway, we sat at the bar which was dirty. It took the bar tender about 5-10 mins to help us with only 3 other people at the bar. We just got a pasta dish and a beer each. The pasta was good, but a little pricey for a small dish and it took them long to notice again we were ready for the tip. Second time we went was on a Thursday, we sat at the bar because there was a line for booths again. On the way to the bar I notice there's a lot of booths, they're just all dirty. The bar also was dirty again. Dishes, glasses and crumbs everywhere. No one was behind the bar and no one was cleaning. Sat there for a good 15 minutes and no servers even acknowledged our presence. Decided to leave at that point. The two girls at the door said bye completely unaware that we were leaving because no one was serving us. I don't know what is up with this place, it's not like they're under staffed. People just aren't cleaning or helping customers. The staff is just too busy talking to each other.

I just returned home and have finally found a time to sit down and do this... 5 days after getting some Hideaway. Simply put, this place is FANTASTIC. Truthfully, there are two reasons for this review. The first is to spread the word about how delicious this place is, while the second is to spread the word about how awesome their employees are (in particular, a manager whose name I can't recall). After a perilous air adventure to Oklahoma City, a coworker and I were left with an insatiable hunger, which of course, was met by "closed" restaurant signs as far as the eye could see. Through the darkness, however, came light. We called Hideaway to find that not only were they still open, but that they had no problem waiting for us to arrive before closing and leaving. ***NOTE: HIDEAWAY DOES NOT DELIVER*** You see, we were, give-or-take, a 10 minute walk away from the establishment. [My coworker uses a wheel chair so walking was our only option]. We agreed that we would haul ass to ensure that the employees did not have to wait for us, googled exactly where we were and how to get there (I refuse to upgrade to a smartphone, screw you kids I'm old school), ordered a Large Big Country and started our journey. Now, normally I'm very, very good with directions and keeping my bearings. I'm an avid backpacker and adventurer. So you could imagine my surprise when I looked around to realize I had no clue where the hell I was going. After a few cellular phone calls back and forth with Hideaway (they weren't sure where I was either, so we kept trying) the manager finally said "Stay where you are, tell me the cross streets, and I'll be there in a few". Within 2 minutes our savior was parked in front of us, handing my pizza to me through her car window. We ate it while sitting next to the Oklahoma City Bombing memorial (we can discuss the morality of that some other time), and that shit was fuckin delicious. Needless to say, Oklahoma wins the 'Nicest People in the US' award, Hideaway gets a solid 5 star review, and my coworker and I went to bed full and happy. My only regret is not being able to stop by one more time before I had to leave. I would have loved to not only say 'thank you' one more time, but really, really wanted to try the Paradise Pie.

Walked in and was promptly seated, our male server approached the table and introduced himself as "Zoey." WTF, is this some sort of joke, is this guy for real right now? Ordered drinks while we browsed the menu, which was full of fantastic looking dishes! When my water arrived the lime was carelessly dropped into my water (gross), a big red infected looking hang-nail (Nasty), and painted nails. (3 distinct health code violations within my first 3 minutes of being in the store.) WTF.....he is serious, he really wants me to call him ZOEY and pretend that he is a girl. Needless to say, I took my family and left, no thank you, I could handle it when it was hippies but, I down right refuse to participate in some guy's delusional fantasy that he is a girl somewhere deep down inside.

Advice if you're doing an order for PICK UP: Call first and make SURE that Alecia is working the Takeout area before you order. We order pizzas and salads *every* Friday, and without fail, Alecia is a well-oiled machine back there and makes sure everything is done PERFECTLY. The 4-5 times we've gone when she's not been in, our orders/charges were all kinds of messed up, especially for large/multiple orders. Every single time, it's ridiculous. But Alecia's awesome, and does it right in a no-nonsense get-in get-out way!

This place has good pizzas, but it's quite pricey. It's definitely better than Domino's, but I'm not sure if a large two-topping takeout is worth $19 compared to a chain restaurant's $8. Their appetizers are worth it - especially the fried mushroom caps. There is one item on the menu that advertises "a different topping on each slice" - as tempting as this seems, do not get this one. Any of the other signature dishes are much better.
