"A world without teachers or dock-workers would soon be in trouble, and even one without science fiction writers or ska musicians would clearly be a lesser place. It’s not entirely clear how humanity would suffer were all private equity CEOs, lobbyists, PR researchers, actuaries, telemarketers, bailiffs or legal consultants to similarly vanish."

I had the pleasure of running the first paid Silverpond deep-learning workshop with +Noon van der Silk last week. We've received a bunch of feedback and the main piece of advice was that we were a bit rushed trying to squeeze so much content into 4 hours. In response we've extended the workshop by 2 hours, with another hour for lunch.

If you or your business are interested in adopting deep-learning then consider coming to our second run in November!

The Black Beach in Iceland is a fascinating landscape that leaves a long lasting, profound and exhilarating impression. It’s a place where the myths, people and landscape come together to create a unique magic.
Check out our article with photos of icebergs and northern lights, as well as illustrations on the legend of trolls and amazing puffins.
