I spent $1,200 on the most expensive tires because they recommended from Concord store. Tires cracked after a year. I returned 3 times they charged me $600. Then the tires went from the most expensive for the first time to get you indoor. Then they gave me the cheapest tires which caused very noisy at Mountain View store. American's Tire is not cheap. They don't care the same tires. Like Costco, they buy bulk tires that they keep in their inventory. I am better off going to Firestone, Precision, etc. to get the brand name tires that are recommended by the factory.

The service is phenomenal! It's a really busy place yet you're greeted professionaly and in the system just minutes after arrival. Get the extra insurance, it's well worth the money. I've been a loyal customer for over 15 years. I just bought an Outback last year and needed a tire repair. They repaired the tire for free even though I hadn't bought the tires there (and even pointed that out). This kind of service has me driving FROM Santa Cruz to this location just to get tires. The service reps always have time for a quick joke or a smile, which is amazing considering how high volume they are. A trip well worth it!

Popped both tires on the driver's side. :( Called on a Tuesday afternoon to inquire about availability. They were very friendly, said they weren't too busy so if I brought the car in today, they would have space. Once I got the car towed to the shop, Johnny was who helped me. He quickly checked the tires, and answered all questions I had: e.g. were the rims still functional (yes). He immediately looked up the brand & model of the tires on the car and noted he didn't have them in stock, but could install a similar tire today within 45 minutes. The matching tire could be ordered to arrive on Friday (3 days away). Johnny was quite patient while I tried to reach my husband and insurance company to find some information to tell me which option to go with. In the end, I went with the similar tire (I realized I shouldn't wait until Friday to discover the rims were bent or the frame was out of whack, and delay those repairs even more). They were done under 45 minutes as promised, and I had my car back and running that evening. I really appreciate Johnny's patience because I took forever to make the tire choice.

Their sales representative, Deshawn was polite and professional. Even though everyone was extremely busy, he took the time to acknowledge me, along with others who were waiting in line. They provided a competitive price, great service and professional representatives. I finally found a business, which exceeded my expectations.

I bought wheels online from a different distributor and had them mounted with Michelin Super Sports that I bought from Americas tire. Upon returning home, I noticed one wheel was bent during installation, and quickly brought it back and showed the manager. I got a brand new wheel after explaining it was not bent before I gave it to them and they swapped the tire onto it and re mounted & balanced free of charge. I would have rather it never happened in the first place, but seeing a store come through for its customers like that is refreshing. They will be getting my business from here on out.

I would like to thank Zachary Hansen for his outstanding customer service and professionalism. I am in Walnut Creek, Ca. and the owner of the company I work for has a Tesla Model S that had a nail in one of the tires, that lead to the discovery that the tire(s) were below 3/32" that were unable to be patched or fixed. She was leaving the next day to drive to South Lake Tahoe and I was told at America's tire in Walnut Creek, Ca. that the Mountain View Store ( 55 miles away ) was the only store that had tires to fit the 2012 Tesla in the area so I called and spoke to Zachary Hansen. He verified they had the tires and I drove there. When I arrived it was very busy and I was pleased that Zachary remembered my call and even though I was forty-five minutes early for my appointment, he did everything he could to get me completed quickly ( less than 30 minutes) to be ahead of the commute traffic which I appreciated because the Tesla was showing 80 miles left on the battery charge to return to Walnut Creek, Ca.

These guys are great. Zac and Kyle were very professional, fast and thorough. I had a 2013 m3 with 2 nails in the rear tire. Waited 20 minutes at the bmw dealership and gave up after still waiting to see a service advisor. Drove next door to these guys and assessed the issue with 5 mins and they plugged and patched up the tire professionally (from the inside) in 45 mins and didn't charge me anything! When I need my rear tires replaced, I know where I'm going.
