Please remember that you never have to perform field sobriety tests. Many people, even many lawyers think a person is obligated to perform field sobriety tests. If you think you will not perform well on the tests, then politely refuse so you can limit the evidence that can be used against you.

What Are the Consequences of a Minor in Possession in Missouri?

This is a question that comes up often, which is what makes this the most watched video on my YouTube Channel. There are many hot spots for getting an "MIP" in the St. Louis area. Maryland Heights is very aggressive at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre (formerly known as both Verizon Amphitheatre and Riverport Amphitheatre). The Mardi Gras celebration in Soulard and the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Dogtown both result in many Minor in Possession of Alcohol citations every year. Please watch the video to better understand the consequences of receiving a Minor in Possession of Alcohol citation in Missouri.

"Can I have my old DWI expunged?"

Many people call my office with this question, and I am happy to say that many times the answer is yes. This means that old mistake that has been haunting these people for years can no longer exist: no arrest record, no suspension on the driving record, and no criminal history of the offense at all. Click on the link to find out the three requirements for DWI expungement eligibility.

Police in some areas of rural Missouri have decided their job is too hard, and have simply began arresting people for suspicion of DWI after conducting almost no investigation. Even worse, when I spoke to two of them about these new tactics, they were cocky and arrogant about how they were gaming the criminal justice system.

These are the newest and trendiest questions I get asked when people find out I am a DWI defense attorney.
