We're not meeting today..hi there I'm heading home sick. We are not meeting today. I plan to meet next week (2/19) at 3:00 in M410

Hi All..it's been a while!
I have had a number of students approach me regarding starting up our Raspberry Pi club. I'd like to start meeting on Mondays in M410 from 3-5pm

We will start this Monday, February 5th. Our first meeting will be spent talking/demoing projects that we've considered or worked on.

I've got a few to show you.

Let me know if you plan to attend!

Sorry for the last minute notice. I will be unable to meet today.
We are having our next Raspberry Pi club meeting tomorrow (Thursday, April 27th) from 4:00pm - 5:30pm in M410

This will be a time for students to share what they're working on and help each other

Thanks
Pat

Just a reminder that we are having our Raspberry Pi club meeting today (Wednesday, March 29th) from 2:30pm - 4:00pm in M308

This will be a time for students to share what they're working and help each other

I have a meeting conflict so Kristen will run the show today
Thanks
Pat

I think it would be good to have other students share what they're working on and use this as a time to help each other ... i.e. if you're stuck, bring your Pi in and we can try to solve the problem

After Kristen's talk, I put together a walk through for setting up a Retro Pi. I still want to edit it, but the steps are all there.

It was a pretty easy process.

The next step is to use an encoder that will allow me to use regular arcade buttons & controls as opposed to PS3 controllers -

Here are some Raspberry Pi Resources .... they look pretty good.

I haven't used Humble Bundle before, where collections of games and books are sold at a price determined by the purchaser, where a portion of the price goes towards charity and the rest is split between the developers.

Our next meeting will be on March 8th, from 2:30-4 in M308.

We had a low turn out today, I'm guessing that the 68 degree weather had something to do with this :)
