Ngee, I disagree with you somewhat. In one breath you inform us there are 12 other parties in the next breath you dismiss them declaring, 'they will never win', 'they're not the ones were here to talk about' or 'KOWA will sell their supporters to a bigger party'. How do you know this last assertion? Have you taken time to study the other 12 and why they're in the race? That is not a non-partisan attitude but you did say you were bipartisan at the beginning so I guess that's APC and PDP then.

But she is not lying now. They would not win. How many times have you seen those other parties campaign or rally or whatever or even advertise themselves... They know what exactly they are doing...

You see how ignorant some so-called pastors are? The so-called pastor does not even know what to ask the so-called Boko Haram? They command so much power and yet have no knowledge of how to handle it. If the man is real Boko Haram why should that exchange continue in public in full glare of hundreds/thousands? Should he not be handed to the Police? Is it now the role of an inept so-called pastor to interrogate an avowed terrorist??? It looks like a rehearsed presentation. Nigeria!!! Theatre of the absurd.

Ngee and Chigurl, you're both hilarious! This is my first episode. I loved it very much and I will start following the show for sure.

I was raised in Northern Nigeria and have a distinct Igbo accent which all my school mates in the North (even the Igbos) called me out on for most of my childhood. Now, as an adult, I've embraced my accent. I have a presentation voice to be sure (my work at the UN means presentations are the typical order of the day) BUT, I will beg to disagree on the tongue being 'set' at any age. Somehow, subconsciously, a bit of an accent creeps in if you spend enough time in a specific environment. I have found though that 'enough' time can vary. For children, it could be weeks. When we moved to Sierra Leone, my 3 year old started interpreting Krio for the rest of us almost instantly. At the age of 10, my eldest moved to Kenya to attend boarding school and after one term, his speech certainly had a distint East African inflection to it. The whole family moved to Kenya in 2011 and now, the Kenyan inflection is pervasive amongst all my children - and sometimes very annoying. Can you imagine my surprise when my husband points out that I too speak with a Kenyan accent? I get 'thrown overboard' with that because my Kenyan colleagues tease my 'Africa Magic' accent all the time! Either way, I hear nothing, just my real self trying to communicate.
