With brick walls & leather booths, there's a warm, clubby vibe to this buzzy American eatery & bar.- Google
"Herbie's is a great place to go for lunch, dinner and brunch on Sundays."
"There is nothing better than the shrimp dumplings and some chocolate fritters."

Herbie's Vintage 72 is one of the best restaurants in St. Louis. I love the atmosphere and the people are always so friendly and helpful there. There is nothing better than the shrimp dumplings and some chocolate fritters. <3 love them!!!

Yet another overpriced uptight restaraunt in the CWE. Seriously, they have an $11 hamburger. People there act like uppity pricks in an attempt to be fancy. The bar crowd was an obnoxious mix of self important business men and washed up mid 40s gold-diggers, not exactly my crowd. The food was tasty but the atmoshpere was fake and skeezy. Also, there is no where to park unless you want to valet. I wont be going back anytime soon.

Herbie's is my favorite place in town to relax in the bar area, enjoy a cocktail (try the Old Fashioned), and nosh on some amazing food while enjoying the company of good friends. The Balaburger is the best burger in town in my opinion. Also - the escargots are a buttery garlicy dream. A top-5 St. Louis destination for sure!

My husband and I tried Herbie's for a brunch in honor of his birthday yesterday. We were impressed by the food and cocktails/mocktails. I have to say - having actual mocktails on the menu was a very nice touch. As a mom-to-be, it's nice to have the option of a special drink w/o the booze. I appreciate that the person who fielded my reserveration request online honored my request for a quiet table as well. Each staff person was cordial and attentive (without hovering) - everyone we interacted with wished my husband a happy day, and we were even given a complimentary dessert, which made the outing all the more sweet. Thank you -- we WILL be back! :)

I love going to Herbie's Vintage 72 restaurant! The staff are very friendly, the drinks and wine selection are outstanding, the food is delicious and the chocolate fritters and ice cream are the BEST! Herbie's is a great place to go for lunch, dinner and brunch on Sundays. If you haven't tried this restaurant wine bar and CWE hot spot you are missing out!
