I have never been able to get subtitles to work with this app. Last night I was watching an mkv file, and the subtitles were sub type. The movie loaded fine, but no subtitles right away. I hit the subtitles button, then add subtitles and choose the sub file. Instead of adding it, it tried to "play" the file, and it failed. Am I missing something? How do you load subtitles?

Backing another game on Kickstarter. This game looks pretty cool. It's a worker placement game, where you are an inventor of a one of the very first cars. You need to build the car, without it blowing up, and the design has to be good enough to sell to the investors. Building the car can come from new parts, a junk yard, or from the black market. Seems pretty fun, and it's at a pretty good price too.

Not too sure if you guys are looking for a 2 player game, but this game is pretty great. Got it last week. It's based off the game Agricola, but this one is a slimmed down version and is for just 2 players. It is a very quick play at only 30 minutes. It's pretty fun, you build a farm, with animals. You make your fences, upgrade your house, make feeding troughs, collect animals and breed them. It's got some fun strategy. I recommend.

Dragon's Hoard only has 60 hours left on Kickstarter. It is at 435% funding! I'm super excited for this one! Most beautiful art I've seen in a game.

Had half an hour to kill last night with my wife. We decided to pull out Agricola: All Creatures Big and Small. It's a great game, and not nearly as intense as the original... however it still got quite heated and my wife crushed me 54 to 34. Ouch. I'm thinking my winning streak is over...

The board game I'm backing on KS, is using real carbon-steel parts as player markers. How cool is that???

That's too bad. I hope they at least get a voice actor that has done batman before, like some of the actors from the DC animated movies (not all were played by Conroy)

We finally had a nice big game of 7 Wonders with the Leaders and Cities expansion packs. Both Leaders and Cities added a large amount of depth to the game. However we ran into problems when we were drafting our Leaders (people were drafting out of turn and messing up the order). We also found that we had to keep looking up everything, the symbology isn't nearly as straight forward as the base game. Also, 2 expansion packs makes setup a lot more messy, there was cards everywhere! However I highly recommend these games. It's an awesome way to kill 30-40 mins!

Worst bike shop in the world! About a month ago I had a flat front tire on my bike so I wanted to get it fixed, and at the same time I decided to get my bike tuned up so the commute to work would be a little more bearable. I dropped off my bike, with the flat tire still attached. First thing that I noticed wrong, the bike tech behind the counter did not know the price of a tune-up. He wrote $20 on the slip, which I wouldn't complain about, but when I went to pay for it at the front, they rudely said it was $40, and then the manager was called, and it was made a whole big thing. Obviously if the bike techs don't even know the price... then I seriously doubt they tune up many bikes. So I left my bike, and picked it up a couple of days later. I stupidly went home right away (I should have taken it for a spin), and then I rode it to work the next day. Well, the bike rode terribly, worse than when I dropped it off! The brakes were nice and hard, which I thought was good at the time (however I learned later... not so good), because the brakes were spongy before. The gears were skipping like crazy, and I couldn't even shift into high gear! So I parked my bike for the day at work... fast forward to the end of the day, I go to get my bike, and my tire is flat again! Whatever caused my original flat wasn't fixed. So I take it back over to Sport Chek to fix again. I asked for them to fix it, and they had to call over the manager. They did it for free, which was nice, but expected. I told them about the tire, and they said it was the rims. I told them to make sure they look for some foreign object. I also told them about the gears, and they said they would look into it. I leave it there, and drive back home, and then pick it up a couple days later (this is the 4th back and forth drive to the store). The tech there assured me the tire was fixed, but he couldn't find a foreign object causing the flats; again though, he assured me it was the rim. He also "showed" me that the gears were fixed. I tried the bike in the parking lot, but I didn't go back in (my fault). Well I went to work the next day, and same thing! Skipping gears, couldn't get into high gear, hard to pedal... and the tire popped once again! By that point in time I said screw it, it wasn't worth another drive to argue for my money back. So I took the tire to Village City Cycle. They fixed it in 15 minutes, and said they found a shard of glass in the rubber. Way to go Sport Chek, couldn't even find a piece of glass. The tire has been fine a month later since then. I didn't want to pay for another bike tune-up at Village City so I decided to tune it myself. Well I watched a 5 minute You-Tube video and got the idea. It was super easy, I'm sure even a monkey could do it (but apparently not the monkeys at Sport Chek). I checked my brakes, and apparently the Sport Chek tech over adjusted them so the brake pads were rubbing against the rotor permanently. Can you imagine biking with your brakes on all the time? No wonder my legs hurt after biking! I also adjusted the gears and easily fixed the skipping and not going into high gear. Yeah, all you have to do to adjust the indexing is rotate the tension screw. And to get it into the top gear is the adjust the H screw with a screw driver... way to go Sport Chek, you have been replaced by a 5 minute You-Tube video. I won't be bringing you guys another bike for you to butcher any time soon. Thanks for scamming me out of $40.

The food here is wonderful, however going for dinner is a total rip-off. If you get the Saturday lunch special, for around $20 you get salad, rice and naan bread with your dish, whereas the dinner price is $18 just for a small chicken dish, to which you then have the choice of adding rice for $5 dollars and naan bread for $3. Seriously, FIVE BUCKS for a bowl of rice when I'm paying $18 for one chicken breast?!
