Today, Chairman McCaul held a hearing on the Department of Homeland Security's roles and responsibilities in ensuring the cybersecurity of our nation's critical infrastructure.

Yesterday, Chairman Michael McCaul, along with TSA Administrator Pistole, announced the introduction of TSA's Pre-Check program at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

Chairman McCaul: "TSA Pre-Check allows airports to be more passenger friendly, while still targeting a real threat -- which is not the grandmother and the little kid, which is not the frequent flyer that is trusted, but rather the potential terrorist coming through the airport."

Today, Chairman McCaul held a Full Committee hearing entitled "A New Perspective on Threats to the Homeland."  At the hearing, he released guiding principles for border security.
