Ohhh man these are some cool new findings about space.

Analysis of data from the European Space Agency’s Planck mission has found out some pretty cool new things about our universe, including:

- It's older than we believed, at about 13.81 billion years.
- It's expanding more slowly than we expected.
- It's made up of 4.9 percent normal matter, 26.8 percent dark matter, and 68.3 percent dark energy.
- And finally, that it's a tiny bit lopsided.

pretty compelling evidence that Mars could have supported life at one point.
An analysis of a rock sample collected by NASA's Curiosity rover shows ancient Mars could have supported living microbes.

#ifihadglass I'd write a photo based food diary application which would show me the pictures of the last three meals I ate whenever I took a new photo, encouraging me to eat better or reinforcing that I've eaten well. I'd then put it in the Play Store, and share my results.

http://bigstory.ap.org/article/drug-overdose-deaths-11th-consecutive-year

I loved the response to the NYTimes article which discussed the general 'chemophobia' in the USA one symptom of which is the growing number of people using 'traditional medicine' without much regard for any statistically significant evidence of it's effectiveness.

This is the same sort of scientific ignorance - not looking for evidentiary support - but in the opposite direction; people are dying from pharmaceuticals more commonly than 'street' drugs because they think they are safer, since of course they're produced in legal laboratories, by profesional scientists.
