Vortex is doing some really cool stuff with the UI :O
Made a bit of progress experimenting with hybrid 2D/3D UI input methods.  It turns out that flying around in 3D to navigate a menu looks cool in the movies, but actually sucks to use.  We're trying to utilize familiar 2D GUI benefits while also harnessing some advantages of 3D.

I think we're on the right track with the overall input system interface.  Now it's time to build out the rest of the UI library with 3D interpretations of various 2D widgets.
