Some thoughts on writing today.
It is a lazy blog day and I feel like cheating. I stumbled on this response to one of William Stafford's books that I cranked out for a class at Washburn, but I think Professor Averill won't mind muc...

I'm thinking a lunch sometime. I've always wanted to host monthly brunch or lunch but schedules have always been the issue

I'm astonished. I've shopped at Safeways all over the country and the two in Queen Anne are total disappointments. The produce is abused and half bad. The meats have been consistently the poorest quality I've ever purchased. But above all else it is clear they have reduced staff at the check out. So your grocery trip takes an extremely long time at the final step. Too few checkers and no baggers, money saving attempt? I've never seen its like at any other Safeway. They always have huge lines morning, noon, and night. I know, I've tried all three looking for the sweet spot. I guess I'll drive farther with my family's hard earned grocery money to find a better store.

Great patio! A nice break from the hustle of the tourist cash grab in Branson.

As my son is getting ready for the fifth grade I remembered the horrible instrument I had when I started band. I'm glad I have an option that doesn't require me to shell out a ton of money in this economy. Thanks!
