Mobile search ads now feature multiple business locations

We’ve heard from many advertisers that featuring more than one location in their ads would help customers choose the location that’s most relevant to them. Today we’re excited to share an improvement to location extensions based on your feedback. If your business has multiple locations, your mobile search ads on Google.com can now show up to three different locations.

This improvement offers consumers the flexibility to choose which location to visit, directly from your ad. Your ad can show the street address for each of your locations or the city and proximity to the consumer — depending on each person’s location settings (http://goo.gl/RDWzEz). As always, ads with location extensions will include links to get directions and make a call.

Your location extensions are now automatically enabled to show in your ads as a single location or in groups of 2 or 3. Check out our Help Center at http://goo.gl/7nPto5 to learn more about location extensions.

Panda update rolling out

Earlier this week, we started a slow rollout of an improved Panda algorithm, and we expect to have everything done sometime next week.

Based on user (and webmaster!) feedback, we’ve been able to discover a few more signals to help Panda identify low-quality content more precisely. This results in a greater diversity of high-quality small- and medium-sized sites ranking higher, which is nice.

Depending on the locale, around 3-5% of queries are affected.

Data at your fingertips - Announcing the Google Analytics app for iOS

At Google, we want to build tools that help you stay connected no matter where you are. Whether you’re in the boardroom, at a live event, or even a day at the beach: having access to Analytics at your fingertips is important. That’s why we previously launched an Android app for Google Analytics (http://goo.gl/Aw3Nrq) that we’re excited has been downloaded by more than 1 million users to date. We’ve been listening to your feedback and hear you loud and clear: you want an iPhone version too. So we are pleased to announce the launch of a Google Analytics app for iOS.

Visit iTunes App Store  to download and install the app to keep up with your data anytime, anywhere: http://goo.gl/rdQY0F

With the Google Analytics App for iOS, you can access the same accounts and profiles you see when you open Analytics from a desktop browser, but you’ll also see reports that are optimized for your phone. Just like the Android app, the iOS app has some neat features, including:

-A completely redesigned, mobile-optimized look and feel
-Side navigation that mirrors Google Analytics on the web for quick access to reports
-Specialized reporting for web and app views (profiles)
-An Overview screen summarizing key metrics from each report
-Deeper analysis via dimension-based drill down in most reports
-Better Real-Time reporting
-Advanced Segments to further analyze your data

Happy Analyzing (on-the-go!).
