Mobile search ads now feature multiple business locations

We’ve heard from many advertisers that featuring more than one location in their ads would help customers choose the location that’s most relevant to them. Today we’re excited to share an improvement to location extensions based on your feedback. If your business has multiple locations, your mobile search ads on Google.com can now show up to three different locations.

This improvement offers consumers the flexibility to choose which location to visit, directly from your ad. Your ad can show the street address for each of your locations or the city and proximity to the consumer — depending on each person’s location settings (http://goo.gl/RDWzEz). As always, ads with location extensions will include links to get directions and make a call.

Your location extensions are now automatically enabled to show in your ads as a single location or in groups of 2 or 3. Check out our Help Center at http://goo.gl/7nPto5 to learn more about location extensions.

Panda update rolling out

Earlier this week, we started a slow rollout of an improved Panda algorithm, and we expect to have everything done sometime next week.

Based on user (and webmaster!) feedback, we’ve been able to discover a few more signals to help Panda identify low-quality content more precisely. This results in a greater diversity of high-quality small- and medium-sized sites ranking higher, which is nice.

Depending on the locale, around 3-5% of queries are affected.
