The best place in Chinatown for a Banh Mi! Everything is made fresh on the premises (the bread, meat, vegetables, etc.) and made to order. The turn around time for the sandwich is also very quick. They have a good assortment of drinks in the fridge and their coffee is true to Vietnamese style coffee -- nice and strong! They have a bit of counter space to eat your sandwich and there are 2 chairs outside for you to munch away on a nice day. I've been to a lot of Banh Mi places and this is by far the freshest I've had in Chinatown, the vegetables do not taste like they've been soaking for days, the bread is crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside, and the meat quality is good. I think it's a small family run place considering that I see the same faces every time I go; glad to support them!

Small sandwich shop with little room to dine, but they have great service, affordability, and delicious choices. I would recommend their house special banh mi sandwich, but I really can't to try the rest of their menu the next time I go back. They also carry a variety of snacks, appetizer items, and drinks. They have a small counters with stools you can eat, or six chairs outside the deli available too.

Came here with 2 buddies and I tried the Banh Mi Nem Nuong grilled minced pork with sweet glaze for $4.75. I had also tried their Banh Mi Pate pate supreme. pork liver pate, vn salami, vn ham a few days prior. The reason for the 3 stars is because of the minced pork with sweet glaze sandwich. If I had only tried the pate supreme pork, it would have gotten 4 stars. I'll review both sandwiches. Banh Mi Nem Nuong grilled minced pork with sweet glaze: I have to preface that I've never tried this type of sandwich back in CA so I can't compare it to back home but according to my friend, it's much better back at home. In any case, I had an issue with the pork. It was dry and too much pepper. Some people would say that it's well seasoned but the pepper is masking a weird flavor from the pork. I can't quite describe it. I almost want to say that it was a little sour, and that's not from the vegetables. Banh Mi Pate pate supreme. pork liver pate, vn salami, vn ham: The pate here is excellent!! I definitely prefer this pate over Banh Mi Saigon Bakery which is about 2 blocks away. The pate here is more flavorful and perfect balance with the chili pepper. This reminded me more of home than the other place. The store is really small here. Not as "upscale" looking as Banh Mi Saigon. If they could re-do the inside decor, this place would do even better. They also have a section that they aren't using. Not sure why. It's not blocked off. You can freely walk into the space when in the store. Weird. Despite the 3 stars, I would recommend this place and I would come here again.

Love love love this banh mi place. Don't come here after 7pm because their sandwiches will run out for sure. They have a certain amount that they make each day and will close for the day once they run out. If you say yes to spice, it is pretty spicy! You have been warned.

Ordered a #1 House Special and did not like it because they put ham and too much mayo inside the sandwich. Also, I think Banh Mi Saigon is definitely better. Their sandwiches and ingredients are higher quality. However, their service is good. The cashier will come out to hand you your sandwich if you are standing outside. The place is small, and they only have four seats inside. Their prices are also good. I just don't like the taste and quality of their sandwiches.
