I played here on October 27, 2014 with three friends from New jersey and was very disappointed. This was the last round for us before returning home, and thought we were playing a premium facility. Once we left the clubhouse, things went downhill. The conditions were atrocious. We were informed that due to over-seeding, the course would be wet. This was an understatement. The fairways were torn up from so many divots with crabgrass visible everywhere and the greens suffered from a black mold fungus. I'm a GM in the golf business in New Jersey and was appalled that in an area with wonderful courses, their staff had such disregard for their product and the satisfaction of their customers. Go play Thistle, River's Edge or Glen Dornoch if you want to get your moneys worth.

Very interesting golf course. Very good shape. Amazing service! I play courses in the area all the time and I felt that the service was exceptional.

Course was in good shape after a few days of rain and overcast skies. Weather was good. Everyone at the course was very friendly. Joined up with another golfer and had a real relaxing day.

Did not honor promised tee time - said those taking turn took precedence and told us wait could be up to an hour or more. Starter and desk staff seemed disconnected. They acted as if we had no reason to be upset that our tee time would be pushed back and we should expect this - but I never have at any other courses, barring weather delays. Response from management when I reported this was to come back sometime and he would work us in depending on availability...nice, eh? Not what I'd expect from Southern hospitality.

All I can say is AMAZING!!! Play this course if you are in Myrtle Beach. We were met by friendly staff and a free lunch and drink after our round. Golf Ambassadors meet you on the 9th and 18th green to tend the flag and always provide interesting facts about the course. The course is in fantastic condition even for early spring and was so fun to play holes modeled after ones from famous courses around the world.
