Hey ppls so I haven't posted in along time..but I just gotta say something..this is America we don't talk like the fatherland or mother Russia..or homeland ..plz..most of our families come from somewhere else.. America we have a belief instead the same belief that this Nation was founded on..we hold these truths to be self evident that all people are created equal endowed by bieng their creator with certain inalienable rights among these are life liberty and the pursuit of happiness...if u don't believe that..you can live here even been born here..but you aren't a real American..if u think we should ban Muslims. from entering this country.. that idea is quintessentially un-american. If you think different your wrong..america for Americans..that kind of thinking leads to fascism...e pluribus unum that's our motto out of many one ..I dunno how so many people have gone so astray but clearly they have..

late night i watch this show parking wars..its so obvious that some communities make it next to impossible to avoid ticketing and or towing. the holding yards (which are huge holes people throw money into that goes right to the city) are consistently understaffed they loose cars they damage cars..any one who is under the illusion that we have where near the rights we used to have, just has to watch a show like this or cops or the first 48 and you can see how law enforcement really looks at the rest of us . And its amazing how much illegal things they do right on tv that no one cares about ..because it has become so common we are desensitized to it.I have seen suspects on tv ask for a lawyer say he didn't want to talk and for 20 mins the cops totally ignored his rights and filmed it.

WOW Great news from N. Korea they have offered to give up their nuclear program in exchange for food and medical aid..call me stupid but man that would be the best money we could spend..as long as we ensure that the N. Korean people know we gave em the food that would be well worth it..We should stop paying farmers to not grow food and have em grow food and send it to hungry people in America and around the world. DUH...

is it me or did the interface change on the left side of the screen there used to be a drop down window that's gone now or my browser is broke? but it's chrome so it should work ....

"In America, we don’t give up, we get up."—President Obama, on-site at Boeing, on the manufacturing sector's comeback.

The American Way of life is individualistic, dynamic, pragmatic. It affirms the supreme value and dignity of the individual; it stresses incessant activity on his part, for he is never to rest but is always to be striving to "get ahead"; it defines an ethic of self-reliance, merit, and character, and judges by achievement: "deeds, not creeds" are what count. The "American Way of Life" is humanitarian, "forward-looking", optimistic. Americans are easily the most generous and philanthropic people in the world, in terms of their ready and unstinting response to suffering anywhere on the globe. The American believes in progress, in self-improvement, and quite fanatically in education. But above all, the American is idealistic. Americans cannot go on making money or achieving worldly success simply on its own merits; such "materialistic" things must, in the American mind, be justified in "higher" terms, in terms of "service" or "stewardship" or "general welfare"... And because they are so idealistic, Americans tend to be moralistic; they are inclined to see all issues as plain and simple, black and white, issues of morality.[2]

As one commentator notes, "the first half of Herberg's statement still holds true nearly half a century after he first formulated it", even though "Herberg's latter claims have been severely if not completely undermined... materialism no longer needs to be justified in high-sounding terms".[3 o i got that from wikapedia:)
