AWFUL, DON'T GO, DOESN'T GUARANTEE HIS WORK First of all, I went here after receiving several recommendations. I have quite the dental history for my age, and based on friend's suggestions I went here feeling really positive that they might help me get my pearlies in order. But, after a couple thousand dollars and more pain, I can say confidently: don't go here unless you have a serious hole burning in your pocket! Dr. Applegate put a much needed crown on one of my molars. Their high-tech no-temporary machine seemed great. But, I'm left with a molar that doesn't even feel like a tooth, and 2 years later, it still hurts! My new dentist confirms, it's no good, there's a gap. It needs repaired. I traveled back to the area and had Dr. Applegate reexamine his handy work, but of course, he claims there is nothing wrong with it. He filled a tooth next to it as well, which also causes me some discomfort and was according to my prior dentist, just fine beforehand. Next, Dr. Applegate suggested a $6,000 treatment plan. $6,000! I went to two other dentists and received treatment plans of $850 and $1,500 respectively. It seems to me dentistry is entirely subjective, and Dr. Applegate just wants to make your mouth his own. Buyer beware, he has to pay for that Cerec somehow. Personality wise, doc is great... obviously passionate about his profession. However, the woman who handles the finances is extremely rude and condescending. Their policies... ugh, they require you to return calls to confirm appointments, and they call YOU if you're 2 seconds late, thanks Mom!

This place is fantastic. It had been over 10 years since my last eye exam, so I was a little weary of where to go. From the appointment scheduling on, the receptionist was so nice! She offered me coffee and airplane cookies, extra points for snacks. The rest of the staff was very helpful. I loved that some of the paperwork was laminated and given to me to sign with a dry-erase marker, how eco-friendly! The frames were a little pricey for me, but they do have a nice, unique selection.

I took a simple pair of boots here to get taken in. When I picked them up 10 days after they were supposed to be done, I wasn't happy. They're still too wide on my calves to wear without looking ridiculous. Then I was charged $75 for the job! They were very rude about working with me and the only alternative was to leave the boots, which I now wish I had since I can't wear them. I had previously taken a much more complicated pair of suede pair of boots to Tri-County Shoe Repair on Northland Blvd., and not only was it only $25, they were done when he said they would be (with a phone call to let me know!) and they were done right. I will be taking all my business there from now on and encouraging my friends to do the same.
