I too do not want to give out a star. I took my car to Auto Hail Repair Guys after meeting Danielle at the Big Kahuna car wash in Aurora, CO, and talking to Michael on the phone. Things were great at first. They had great communication, filled me in on what was going on with my car. But then, they disappeared. Timeline: 2/26 Gave my car to AHRG, I had met them at Enterprise so I could pick up a rental car. The rental was more than my insurance daily rate, but they said they would cover the difference. 3/2 Hear from my insurance, saying they met with them and my car should be ready the following Tuesday (3/10). 3/9 Get a text message from Danielle saying a part was backordered and it would be an extra day (so 3/11) 3/11 comes and goes, I was busy at work so I didn't call til Friday 3/13. Some other guy answers the phone, I believe their tech, telling me my car was done, but the windshield wiper sprayers got broken when replacing the hood and they were on backorder (I'm sensing a theme), but I could pick up my car on Saturday 3/13. Since I live in Brighton and their shop was in Aurora (near my office), I asked if I could just pick it up the following Monday (3/16). 3/16 rolls around, and I try calling them to arrange a time to pick up my car. No answers anywhere. Their 847 area code phone number has a message that "this user is no longer accepting calls". Uhh ok. So I head down to the shop to see if I can' talk to someone in person, and nobody is there. I called the number posted on the door (a local 720 phone number) and the tech answered. He told me the 847 number was assigned to a phone that was stolen, and that he was busy trying to get it replaced, but I could come back the next day to get my car. That was the last time I spoke to someone at Auto Hail Repair Guys. Until.... after many attempts to stop by their office before, during, and after work with nobody there. Finally, on Thursday 3/19 I stopped by again, this time with my spare set of keys, and repeatedly set the alarm off til someone came to the door (I knew someone was there because their truck was out front, when it hadn't been before). I was greeted by a woman who said she was Michael's mother. Apparently Michael (owner) and Danielle (salesperson/employee) were in a relationship, had a "disagreement" which resulted in Michael being arrested. It explained why nobody was returning my calls. I informed her that I was taking my car back, which I did. The hail repair was done, but as mentioned to me by the tech, the windshield sprayers were not on the car. Michael's mother had them in a bag in her truck, so she gave them to me. I finished the work myself. I also noticed this past weekend while washing the car (because it was filthy and reeked of cigarette smoke and bad air freshener), that a cover piece was missing off of the back windshield wiper. My insurance paid this awful company $7200. I also had to pay around $175 out of pocket for the rental car difference since the rental they gave me was more than my insurance rate. Don't get scammed like I did. They talk a good game but this company is not ran by good people. Oh yeah, my coworker also used them and they scammed her too. She just got her car back yesterday (3/25).

Choosing to file bankruptcy for me was a very difficult decision. I had been struggling to pay off credit card debt that accrued mostly in 2008/2009 when the real estate market crashed and I tried to start my own business. I finally came to the realization that unless I received some kind of windfall or my income doubled, I had no way to get my cards paid off (on top of my car loan, student loans, etc.). I was not behind on any payments and had excellent credit. But I finally made the decision to do it, and after doing some research and getting referral from friends, I stumbled upon David's site. I emailed him for a consultation and was very impressed that he emailed me back very quickly, on a Sunday. He explained everything carefully, and was very no-nonsense about everything, which is just my style. The entire process went very smoothly and David and his office was very good about giving me all the information I needed to do everything right the first time. I would highly recommend David to anybody who needed assistance with bankruptcy.
