Seven African American churches have been burned down. Though we've made progress, there is still a lot of work to do. We live in a country that promotes equality for all. DAP values dialogue and action around diversity and inclusion in our communities. What will you do to make sure that dialogue around race continues, pushing toward a more inclusive future?

DAP offers Listen. Talk. Learn. (LTL) Community Sessions that dive into dialogue around unconscious bias and racial issues in our communities. Visit http://bit.ly/1FRZMMG, or email us at info@dapstl.org.

This article was written before the Supreme Court ruling, but comparing this historic ruling to the tragedy in Charleston illustrates the work that still needs to be done. Laws may be passed, but helping others understand, respect and accept one another is the work that our communities are in charge of. These dialogues should happen. http://ow.ly/OQq3q
