Sweet Home CSS Alabama and Gears & Gaslights
Image found on the Internet...and happily mashes up the two topics. Just a quick note to say that I recently upgraded myself from Adobe CS5 to the new Adobe CC and am trying it out by doing a wee bit of revision on both Sweet Home CSS Alabama and Gears & Ga...

Found some time to finally update this. It's almost entirely cosmetic, so not a big change.

Expanding a bit: it's grim, but it seems to me that you've got room for at least three kinds of engaging story here:

* The search for the source of disaster, which might succeed or might be an endless quest (and room in the second case for the thing Stephen King did brilliantly in From a Buick 8 in particular: what do you do with your life when you realize you cannot get the answers you crave?).

* The continuing intrusion of the source of disaster, pressing in on people who weren't going to seek it out. Things can go from bad to worse, and/or from bad to stranger and stranger.

* The struggle for routine life in the midst of it all, where disaster doesn't intrude further but doesn't recede, either.

Good stuff!

Full Contact Magic got a face-lift too!
Like Chumahassee County, Full Contact Magic has had a face-lift, though this one is less severe. Outside of fixing a few glaring typos, the only real change is brand new maps to fit my new preferred style choices. In addition...

Brave The Impossible
So I found some time to finally update Brave The Impossible to my new preferred visual style, along with a bit of editing and wee bit of additional material. It's over in the Risus section on the left. It's now only 8 pages long. I've got it in my mind to d...

A new one page setting for Risus (plus a one page locale for use with it). Kind of a downer of a setting - I doubt anyone would want to play it once they know what it is about - but it wanted out of me. A personal, and intimate setting.

I think with the right group it could be a very interesting experience. I love that RPGs explore all sorts of imaginary worlds, including the dark and somber ones.

As always, thanks for sharing your awesome Risus stuff!

The big empty space on the bottom is reserved for all the big hardback Risus tomes that will be released soon.
