NCRI - The U.S. government in its latest report on terrorism has placed the Iranian regime at the top of terrorism supporting countries. The U.S. State Department's annual report released on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, deals with global terrorism in 2016, stating that the Iranian regime was ahead of all the countries that sponsored terrorism in the past year.

Geographically speaking, Tehran is located in a valley surrounded by mountains on three sides. In the meantime, officials and bands within the regime have through building high-rises prevented the city from breathing; first by eradicating Tehran’s northern gardens to make room for new buildings, and then by erecting tower blocks in gardens’ places, thereby preventing airflow in the city.

NCRI - 12 million workers are currently employed under a short-term contract in Iran .The head of the union of contract workers, Fathollah Bayat announced on Monday, July 17.

According to the state-run Mehr News, Bayat referred to the poor condition of job contracts, stating that, "More than 13 million insured workers are currently working and 12 million of them hold short-term job contracts."

The murder of Asghar Nahvipour, a young Iranian athlete, by regime’s security force in a metro station of Shahre Rey, south of Tehran, has raised a wave of rage across the country. This incident took place on Saturday, July 15th when Nahvipour protested and attacked a mullah seen harassing a number of young women under the bogus pretext of “improper hijab”. Eyewitness say he was fired at point blank range by the police while yelling, “We don’t want these mullahs. We don’t want this Islam. What kind of a country is this? What kind of Islam is this?”

The U.S. Department of Justice has announced that two Iranian men who worked with someone pardoned by President Barack Obama have been charged with hacking a Vermont software company and stealing software that does aerodynamic analysis and design for bullets and GPS-guided artillery shells, the Associated Press reported.

The Iranian resistance welcomes the designation of 18 entities and individuals affiliated with the Iranian regime for their role in exporting terrorism and in the drive to proliferate ballistic missiles. The sanctions are a necessary measure in confronting the mullahs’ dictatorship as the main source of regional crises and instability. Today’s actions need to be complemented by designating the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist entity and its expulsion from the Middle East region.
