Elbow East offers a great local North Fork dining experience. Great steakhouse/pub style menu with seafood specials sure to please everyone. It's off the beaten path, and a favorite watering hole for the locals. Friendly staff, unpretentious ambiance. If you want to experience the North Fork the way the locals do, a stop at Elbow East will do the trick.

1st time here and will NEVER return. We had the Schrimp Scampi, Stuffed flounder, Shrimp Casino. Nothing had a taste to it and when I took a bite out of the bread it was all green moldy. I had asked to speak with a manager but the waitress seemed to have taken that position. Needless to say Not 1 appology, nor courtesy offered. Not even a $1.00 discount. Also as others posted - the prices are a bit high for the decor and atmosphere there.

This is one of the North Fork's best beach restaurants. It is a block away from Kenny's Beach, perfect for a seafood dinner after watching the incredible sunsets over the water. The bar is great and the dining room has plenty of room to handle your vacation crowd. This is what the North Fork lifestyle is all about.

All I see are comments on steaks, steaks, steaks. Well, try the seafood, too. Great NE Clam Chowder. Great Fish n Chips (malt vinegar is great with them). Have not yet tried the steak, but the seafood is great. Small split level casual place near the beach (Sound side, Southold). Turn by the sign off the North Road (Rte 48) and go straight down Kenney's Road to just before the beach. On the right will be Elbow East. Leave a bit of time for dinner. No hurries here, just good food.

Lori is an excellent bartender. The bar was packed on a Thursday. (Quickdraw extra) Lori was able to help everyone. It seemed like a locals place. Lots of people knew each other's names. Good food good company. I recommend!

Although I do get dragged to Elbow from time to time, I should do a little more kicking and screaming. Every entre is about $5 too much when once considers the décor and service. The food is good, but not exceptional. It takes too long to get any service.
