It's half term which means we are seeing lots of children in the practice. Do you know when children should start seeing a dentist? It's a question we are often asked.
Check out the attached blog explaining how parents can help look after their children's teeth and if your baby hasn't yet seen a dentist give us a call and we can book them in.

Meet The Team, Here is:
Liz Matthews - Dental Hygienist
How long have you been a hygienist? 14 years.
Where were you brought up? In Tiddington.
What is your favourite treatment to provide? I enjoy all aspects of my job but airflow and whitening are nice to do as you see instant results and patients are smiley and pleased with the results!
Have you had any treatment yourself? Yes, Zoom Whitening, airflow, white fillings, extractions, and onlays.
Do you have any pets? A cat called Totty🐱
If you weren't a hygienist what do you think you would do? Probably lie on a beach for a while and think about it! - but really, possibly something medical like the ambulance service. I'm a people person and enjoy meeting different people but also love the science side of medicine.
What do you like to do to unwind? I enjoy socialising, reading, cooking and try to keep fit by running. I also enjoy tennis when I have time!

Do you think you might grind your teeth at night? As well as harming your teeth it can cause sufferers to have jaw pain, headaches and earache.
If you suspect you might clench or grind your teeth on a regular basis please mention it to your dentist. They will be able to check for signs of wear and may recommend a custom fitted bite guard is worn at night to protect your teeth.

Our Langmans Ladies were in training last night with a 6 mile walk along the river and down the Stratford Greenway. In just over 2 weeks they will be walking 10 miles around Blenheim Palace to raise money for Breast Cancer Care.

They would like to thank everyone who has kindly donated either on their justgiving page or via the sponsor forms in the practices.
