Ummmm, it was OK. I went for Taco Tuesday and had 5 different tacos. I only liked 1 of them and didn't like the corn soft taco shells. I prefer flour tortillas or crunchy corn shells. The cornbread dressing was way too sweet. it was teetering on a dessert with aromatics. Seems like my friends were more hyped about the drinks. If I return, I'll have to try the drinks and order something different.

Great beer, food selection and atmosphere. Also good selection of mixed drinks. The nachos are huge and amazing, although a little much for two people to finish, especially if you want to have an entre as well. Probably good for a medium sized group. Parking can be an issue, look around the side streets.

Great service and atmosphere! Calypso beef and fried oyster tacos have amazing flavor and good spice. Jerk chicken tacos needed more spice. Plantains are the best I've ever had. Will come back every chance I get!

Food was good. Jerk chicken was not spicy. Cuban was delicious! Not traditional though. The bread on it was amazing! Ordered the key lime upon the reviews here. Unfortunately, I wasn't too impressed with it. I wouldn't order it again. But other than that, everything was good!

On a very hot day in late June my wife and I stumbled upon this delightful late lunch stop for some of the best tacos we've ever eaten. Order the brisket tacos first and be sure to get one that you don't have to share with others - it was that good! Others we loved were the fried oyster and shrimp. The coconut rice was sweet and delightful. Rum drinks and nachos looked dangerously good, but we'll have to save these for next time. Waitstaff was kind and we were fortunate to grab a seat at the bar after only a couple minutes wait. Go and enjoy!

Exceeded ALL expectations and is my new favorite place to go when in NOLA! To DIE FOR fresh foods with amazing flavor, exceptional service even during a shift change, reasonably priced, and plenty of seating in and outdoors. May come back a second time while we're here. Seriously....thank you Rum House for total happiness in my belly! My brother and I had (combined) the Mahi Mahi and hearts of palm salad, Jerk chicken taco with mango habanero salsa, BBQ short ribs with papaya, amazingly fresh and light sweet potato chips, and the Painkiller. You ROCK!

Not impressed, this is one of those places that has mediocre food, yet is always packed with customers. I suspect they advertise at the hotels, I have always wanted to take a poll to see if they are all unsuspecting tourists. My chicken breast was seriously undercooked, the replacement was overcooked. Friendly and nice staff that appears to be overworked. Go next door to the Red Dog Diner instead.

Caribbean tacos and rum treats...enough said! My biggest thanks to my friend that recommended the tacos here! Rum House serves a variety of small, delicious tacos. I recommend that duck duck goose taco and the brisket taco. The meat in both was so juicy and savory and topped with sweet sauces. The tacos are small enough where you can order a few if you cannot decide which of the flavors to order. The Funky Monkey rum concoction was delicious--banana, coconut, and chocolate mixed with Kahlua and a dark rum makes for delicious, tropical drink.
