8 - I only take away 2 points because I think some people don't realize they need to link their accounts through the settings area (or whatever it happens to be named). Once that is done, it's a 10, as long as those accounts don't change :)

Hangouts on any day but Monday! I know y'all were so overwhelmed by my incredible trivia prowess at the first one, but that's no reason to hold it the only day I'm not home :)

The best butter chicken in Toronto! I've been for the buffet and the selection is not only vast but tasty. GO EARLY or you won't get a table - all three floors fill by 12:30! I've also been for dinner and it's not SO crowded, the food is awesome and the service is great. I recommend the butter chicken, chicken tikka, shrimp curry, palak paneer and vegetable pakoras. The price is amazing as well - two people can eat at the buffet for $30! Check out their daily specials as well, they're affordable and include the best plates. This is my favourite restaurant in the GTA, I wish I lived closer (like maybe over the restaurant so I could eat here daily? :)

The chicken schnitzel is amazing. Potato pancakes were okay. Pierogies are different, but good. The sauce on the cabbage rolls tastes like it came out of a can. Side veg was sweet but nice. Garlic bread didn't taste of garlic, but the bread itself was exceptional. Salad dressing was boring but salad was fresh. Potatoes were flavourless. Service was borderline terrible - messed up our order and was exceptionally slow. They did take some items off the bill to make up for it, but the slowness (in a practically empty restaurant) means we probably won't go back. The bill was quite high, even with a few things removed. The bathroom is like entering a dungeon. It's very difficult to get into the front - in fact, no one in a wheelchair could. I guess they could enter in the back through the gorgeous solarium and patio, though. P.S. It definitely is NOT an Italian restaurant. They serve German/Ukrainian/Polish food.

The food was okay, but the service was abysmal. They never refill drinks unless you're at the bar, they don't check on how the food was and they'd often warn us away from certain menu items, a sure sign of a questionable kitchen. It always took forever to get the bill, too. The place is dark and hard to navigate. Bathrooms were always clean, though.

I don't know how anyone can say the onion rings are good - they're greasy, thick and leave a nasty layer of goo in your mouth for at least an hour afterwards. The patties are frozen and unappetizing, and the staff are rude. I will never EVER eat here again!

We went the day after the big snowstorm in Toronto, so the place was predictably dead. That said, the food certainly wasn't! The potato leek soup was hot, tasty and luscious. The red pepper and goat cheese flatbread was a very light way to enjoy lunch, although a small side salad of baby greens would have been a nice accompaniment. The fish and chips were sublime, with beer batter matching beautifully the fresh, tasty fish within. Sadly, the Miracle Whip served in place of tartar sauce was lackluster. That said, I wouldn't allow tartar sauce to flaw the two beautiful pieces of fish anyway! I walked in expecting an okay meal and walked out a fan of their food.

The food: the buffalo chicken nachos were amazing (except for the guacamole, which tasted vaguely like Cheez Whiz), but everything else fell flat. The blue burger was TOO blue - I never imagined I'd say that, but the blue cheese was overwhelming (maybe they are trying to overcome the dead tastebuds of smokers or alcoholics? Or maybe it was intended to be a blue plate special?) The fish of the fish and chips was soggy and oil-soaked. The poutine was great - the gravy was obviously from the pot roast - and the plain fries were good. We'd be reviewing the pot roast grilled cheese but they apparently ran out. The service: I'm sure the table behind us with four eligible bachelors got great service (the waitress stayed with them for a good 10 minutes at a time) but we were mostly ignored. It took forever to get most things, except for our mains which were brought out only a few minutes after our nachos, clogging our table. The atmosphere: Noisy raucous, which isn't surprising for a sports bar on a CFL night. The value: $1.99 for the nasty guacamole was a waste of money. If the food had been better quality I'd have been OK with the pricing. Overall: Won't be going back.
