I've come to see that the study of Aesthetic Realism is necessary for people to see kindness as strength, and to see justice to others as taking care of oneself. And my education continues.

Dear Friends, if you care for music or play an instrument this is a must-see! Why can a person feel, as time goes by, that they have less feeling about things? Why may one become harder and less happy? How does an attitude to the world affect the way we see people, music, and how can it interfere with our playing of an instrument? The answers are here. I wish I could express adequately the admiration I feel for this interview with Ms. Allen by Dr. Edward Green, and how happy it makes me. It is both joyful and scrupulously scientific, and the musical examples are sublime. Check it out!

Hi Jennifer. You have some wonderful photographs here! And I'm glad to know about Calvert Vaux Park so close to us in Brooklyn.

October is a fine time to hear a phenomenal talk, "The Beauty of Baseball Shows How We Want to Be!" by Ernest DeFilippis. It will add geometrically to your enjoyment of the upcoming World Series, whether you're a fan of the Mets -- like me -- or the Royals, Blue Jays, Cubs, or any other team. It explains why people all over the US and beyond love baseball. It is thrilling!

The real and lasting answer to racism can be found in the meaning of this statement: "People need to feel, with feeling both intimately personal and large, that difference of race is like the difference to be found in music" --Ellen Reiss, Aesthetic Realism Chairman of Education.

What We Want, and Don't Want!

No more hungry children.
No more austerity.
We want good will,
Not brutality.

Thank you for the article!  It is stirring, moving, and extremely important with what is going on right now in the US.  Sojourner Truth is a great lady and I'm glad as a US history teacher who used the Aesthetic Realism method in the classroom for many years, to learn more about her.  I love what Eli Siegel said about truth itself, which is so valuable for everyone.

Glad my article was published in UnionsMatter and Laborpress.  Unions need to know what Ellen Reiss writes, which is quoted here.
