Great article on playing smaller point limit 40k 8Ed games. My own gaming group mimics tournament play at 2000pts but games take more than 3 hrs. Maybe a few smaller games would add variety and prevent games becoming stale.

Getting around to finishing the Secret Weapon Miniatures Tables scales boards from the kickstarter. What should I do with the green grassy areas?

This was just too clever and funny, had to share: Why the Space Wolves are Secretly the X-Men? http://www.spikeybits.com/2016/06/space-wolves-secretly-x-men.html

Hi Everyone. I'm looking for hobby/gaming room layouts and designs so I can decide on the dimensions for one I'm building. Does anyone have a link or two to some blogs about setting up a gaming room with a room layout diagram?

For reference, I'm looking at a central gaming table 8 foot X 6 foot surround by:

1. Display cabinets
2. A hobby area (painting table and shelves for parts and paints)
3. Storage for gaming items like terrain and boards

The building shell is a single car garage (the exact dimensions are what I'm trying to work out)

Cheers,

Russ

Some very nicely painted (shaded) realm of battle tables. Winter at the back and I especially like the rad-desert looking table.
