As parents, we want to give our kids the best of everything, especially during the holidays. However, it is not always easy to decide whether to buy the latest and greatest tech-bling or the tried-and-true craft toy. We wanted to create a program that would help parents decide which toys are best for their children. Our panel of experts will talk about how toys can not only be fun, but also educational, developmental and therapeutic.

My friend, Ken Rott, invented the "snow goose ski sled". It is a portable device that turns ordinary skis into a transportation system that makes traveling in the winter fun. It was developed for those with limited mobility, but is fun for anyone who likes to walk in the snow. He was a finalist in the first round and needs your vote to get into the finals. Check out the video and show your support by voting for a fun new invention.

We need your vote to win a $10K grant. A friend, Ken Rott, invented the "Snow Goose", an awesome device that allows anyone with physical limitations to enjoy walking or sliding on the snow. They are no longer housebound in the winter. And, even if you are in top physical condition, it is fun! Help Ken to win by voting at http://j.mp/KenRott.

"Drones are the most exciting industry today. Despite legitimate concerns about safety and privacy, drones will affect every facet of your life," said Roger Glovsky of NewTech Longmont. "Within the next decade there will be an explosion of drones used in the air, on land, and in the water, both publicly and privately. We are thrilled to have an expert panel at NewTech to share what's happening in the field today, and what is their vision for the future."
