We came in on a Saturday afternoon. I got a great tequila cocktail ($12, I think), and we ordered guac which was pretty good. Service was super friendly and fast, and the place has a really cool vibe. I'd definitely go back at night to check out the night crowd. It's a small place, I'm sure it gets really crowded. My friend and I ended up sharing a table with another group of 3, but it quickly reached a point where people just had to stand. I think bigger groups might have a hard time squeezing into a corner.

Actually loved this place, I was here to celebrate a friends birthday and the atmosphere was just perfect. A lot of people were moving around dancing and grooving but you were still able to move around. We actually left a club after only being there for about an hour while the night was young and stumbled onto this place and didn't leave until they were actually closing which was about 3:30am. If you're down with excellent music, drinks and dancing or drinks and just relaxing I recommend this place for both.

Great neighborhood bar. The upstairs / main area is perfect for a fun date or drinks with a few friends. Downstairs there's a dance floor, which can get pretty fun on the weekend.

Stopped by back in December on the way to the L. Needed a little bite before heading to a show and the food truck at the brewery wasn't going to cut it. The vibe is quiet and intimate but still works for a group if you arrive early enough. Not long after our party of five arrived the place was packed to the gills. We sat street level at one of the communal tables and found the waitstaff to be quick and attentive without being overbearing. We had beer (3 people) and soda, a warm bag of croutons (the name was the most discussed topic... is the modifier correctly placed? Would bag of warm croutons work better?) and the goat cheese/olive tapenade offering. Everything was flavorful, perfectly salted and finished. While it got loud as the evening wore on it was the right kind of loud. Definitely a go to bar if you find yourself living or visiting this particular hood.

Great cocktails. Came here in the winter and it was so warm and cozy. From Canada and they had a cocktail that used maple syrup in it and it was great. Nice staff as well.

Love this place! Came here one time to watch a NBA Finals game and randomly passed by with a friend on another night. We played Jenga and had some drinks. The downstairs portion turns into a dance club. Highly Recommended!!

The customer service experience was beyond horrific...and this is coming from FOUR professional females working in the industry. The waitress went above and beyond to make the service miserable after we asked if she forgot our order and asked for a bigger glass to pour the beer into. She even made it a point to not return the change like we asked. When the manager came over so we could give her feedback on how unprofessional the waitress was, the manager VERBALLY ASSAULTED the whole table. She went around in a circle and personally attacked every single one of the group from "why would you ask if we have fries? Can you not read?” to "Go back to the Colorado where you came from." I have never been more apalled and mortified with the utter disprespect that came from the waitresses followed by her superior. The manager made my co-worker leave in tears.

Response from the owner - 4 months ago
Ladies, I am not surprised to see your review here and as I stated that afternoon, I welcome feedback from our clients but I had hoped you would have at least been honest. As I also stated that afternoon, I am not the manager I am the owner and if all of you were in fact PROFESSIONAL FEMALES WORKING IN THE INDUSTRY none of you would have behaved the way you did. A bigger glass was brought to your table when you needed one after your friend spilled her beer all over the table, do you remember asking her "don't you have eyeballs?", and no one didn't return your change, that money was the $17 OWED to the bar for your friends food and drink. The rest of the tab remained unpaid when I said I thought it was better that the 4 of you leave and forget the rest of the bill. Funny, I saw the 4 of you giggling and laughing as you finished your free drinks and were clearly already writing this review, not one of you were in tears. All the best to all of you. But hopefully the next time you visit a bar/restaurant you remember that the same respect we as service industry PROFESSIONALS are to give our customers it's just common courtesy for the customers to find a polite way to order, ask for a check, and understand a businesses policy's. Thank you.

Far bar. Downbeat most weekdays and good for a drink or date. On the weekends the basement hosts a DJ and it gets to be quite dancey and can be a ton of fun.
