Brought my car in for a rattle noise. Called me and said your rattle is somewhere in the front end. But we noticed you need a new battery, new tire pressure sensors, new windshield wipers, a new stem in one tire, and an oil change. This will cost $500.00. I said again, what about the rattle? And he changed the subject back to my car is going to die. I told him that I was sorry, but I don't have the money for all these unnecessary things. He convinced me to get an oil change, after ARGUING with me I HAD TO FIX EVERYTHING. Then said well since you are just going to come and get your truck I'm charging you for a half an hour in labor. Great... So I paid $130.00 for an oil change and them to not find my rattle :-( but to look at things I didn't ask to be done. I was afraid to argue that they would purposely damage my car. What horrible shady people who drastically tried to take advantage of me.

We were on the road traveling in the hot summer when our air conditioning went out. Bison automotive was able to get us in, get the parts and have our vehicle fixed within hours. They treated us very well and we would recommend them to any others who are traveling or are in the town of Buffalo. Great job.

These guys have serviced my old 2001 Subaru Outback a dozen times - a couple of those repairs were truly Jesus-level miraculous. Bison Automotive is the BEST place in Buffalo to keep a car running over 200,000 miles

Do not go to these terrible scam artists! They charged my fiancee over $90 for an oil change. When I called to ask why the charge was so high I was yelled at and hung up on. They also left the interior of the car stinking of cigarettes. This is just another scumbag mechanic taking advantage of girls because they think they can get away with it!

This automotive shop WAY overcharges their customers. My family was taking both of our older used cars there quite a bit in the past 6 months for one car problem after the other. After last week when I had to pay $500 to replace a starter in my Honda I am DONE supporting this business. The owner wouldn't even cut us a deal or give us a free oil change after spending close to $2500 with this business in the past 6 months on both of our cars. I do 'NOT recommend Bison. You can find a better priced competitor elsewhere!

Way over priced!! Charged me $95 to put in a new headlight bulb after telling me that it would only be a few bucks. Charged me $45 to spray wd-40 in a sticky lock. I won't be back. Plus high pressure sales looking for things wrong.

Bought tires from here. The owner went over pricing, showed me his pricing on the screen and told me their flat fee for tire which included installation at $25 a piece. I thought that it was fair. I went back a few weeks later because my one tire was leaking air. He let me know it was a problem with the valve stem and that it was $170(!) to replace. I understood and agreed. The next day I stopped in and they had the part shipped. They did some work on it and greeted me with good news.. they said 90% of the time the valve stems break but this time they were able to keep it intact and clean it up. Total charge was $27 and my leak is fixed. Not often a mechanic quotes a price then comes back at 1/7 the price. Great experience... I enjoyed the coffee and wifi while I briefly waited as well.

During the 5 years I was in Buffalo I tried a few different places. I found Bison about 1 year into my stay and refused to take my cars anywhere else after that. I highly recommend these guys to family and friends. Trustworthy, good people, great work, and always reasonable.
