To measure air pollutants cheaply, distribute cheap spectrometers pointed at the white FAA strobes atop antennas and other high structures. Flashing lets the spectrometers capture differential readings with and without the light source.

PAPA 14, including a collection of 450 pinball machines besting any museum, will open to the public in Pittsburgh this year from 8/11-8/14, with most machines available for public, non-tournament use. Looking forward to getting my fix of Black Knight 2K, Pinbot, and Theatre of Magic.

Our favorite laundry. The owners are very friendly, very reliable, and take great care of us and our clothes. We're privileged to subscribe to their wash, fold, and delivery service for several months now, and it's the best we've seen. Or you can also wash your own clothes there, or drop off for wash and fold without the delivery.

Incredible selection of electric bikes. My wife bought an electric bike here a number of weeks ago, and she is loving it so much she convinced me to buy one also. We came back to Adam Solar Rides for my bike too because they're incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and patient. Adam personally took us both on long test rides, letting us try the different bike makes and models. We both opted for models that increase power in proportion to how hard you're pedaling -- feels like you're riding a normal bike but that your legs have suddenly become much stronger. We're already finding that the bikes are replacing our car for short errands and commutes, and that we're getting outside more. Last night we biked up the (steep) hill to our our local sunset view, something we wouldn't have done otherwise. Two thumbs up!

My favorite Korean restaurant (having lived in large cities in the U.S., and having visited Korea twice). The staff is super-friendly, and pays a lot of attention to their ingredients. They're happy to work with you if you have food sensitivities. My favorites are the bibimbap, garlbi (beef short ribs), broiled mackerel, and beef dumpling stew.

I love this theater. Well-selected movies, friendly staff, great projectors, and best of all, no advertisement reel to punish you for arriving early! I wish there was slightly more sound isolation between the rooms. But that's minor compared to all the plusses.

I've been here several times. Friendly and knowledgeable people, reasonable prices, and offered to walk out and install the new wiper blades on the spot :-).
