People that work the night shift can develop Shift Work Sleep Disorder (SWSD). It is defined as a circadian rhythm sleep disorder characterized by insomnia and excessive sleepiness affecting people whose work hours overlap with the typical sleep period. How do you measure an athlete's potential? For us, we apply The Power Athlete Performance Model. At the intersection of the Athleticism, Skill, and Mental elements, we find Performance. Athlete’s use their athleticism to display technical skills as their decision making and grit are challenged.
