Worst dinning experience, never eating here again!

My Eggplant Parm was very tough. I sent it back and they gave me another one, but it was even tougher.

The wife and I tried going here for the first time with no luck. We had to wait nearly 2 hours for our food to come out. Our appetizer was wrong, and we hardly saw our server. On top of that when the food finally came out the entrees were not even warm. We tried it a second time about 4 months later thinking maybe it was just a fluke. Again, it was on a slow night for them and the entrees STILL took nearly 2 hours to get out and the we hardly ever saw the server. Avoid this place like the plague.

My family & I liked the food. It may not be the best but fairly good for San Angelo...we didn't like the service of one of the guys. He mistakenly charged us for our beer & when we asked for a box, he said he'll do it for us...after a long wait, we learned he threw the food away. However, pretended to be naive. One of the waitresses came by to check on us because oh his long absence...

We went to this restaurant with a little caution because there were some bad reviews. But we were very pleasantly surprised. They must have read the reviews because the service was attentive, but not too much, courteous, and speedy. Full marks where they got damned by others. The food was just what we wanted. Beautiful fresh ingredients well presented and tasty, even on a Sunday night. We marked it down a little because the sauce on my chicken seemed to be added rather than part of the dish, but my wife's dish was just fine. Altogether a really pleasant experience..

We went after the crowd, not a lot of people in the restaurant. So you'd think the service would be good, yes? You'd be wrong. Slow service taking the order, slow service getting the food. I could see the food sitting in the window, just sitting. Server came by & asked if food tasted ok, but did not bother to ask if we wanted refills on the drink (which we did). Food was OK, nothing to write home about, but it was ok. Overpriced for the quality of the food. If service is important to you, think twice about this place.

We watched the kitchen and wait staff run around seemingly disorganized as we waited over an hour for them to deliver our food. By the time the table was served, 2 of our 8 orders were delivered cold as if they had been finished for a while but had been waiting on the rest of the food to be prepared. We're new in town and eagerly looking for restaurants to enjoy our evenings out - but this place will not be one of them. The food was bland, took far to long to be prepared, and the waiter even mixed up a few drinks giving different glasses back to different patrons at the table (I like my friends, but I'm not too keen on being given their glass when getting a refill). By the time we paid (and all scoffed at our built in gratuity, despite the horrible service) the manager offered each of us a "free desert" card to use at another visit... Even with a free offer on the table, I don't think the mediocre food is worth the effort.

The food was good, but it was just like any other italian chain, except more expensive. The music was also too loud for the setting of the restaurant. We arrived after the dinner crowd, so there were only a handful of tables being occupied, but we still had slow service from the time we walked in the door to be seated to getting refills. They were quick to take care of our check, though....go figure. We don't intend to return.
