It's important to keep pets warm during cold day and nights, but be careful if you're using portable heaters. They can be hazardous to both your pets and your home!

Not all pets have the same tolerances to cold weather. Be sure to watch your pet when they’re outdoors and observe their behavior. Ask us if you have questions on how to keep them safe and comfortable if they’re going to be spending time in cold temperatures!

If you give your pet snacks of peanut butter, be sure to check the ingredients list for xylitol! This ingredient can be very dangerous if ingested by animals. Call us right away if you think your pet may have been exposed to this sweetener.

The healing powers of dogs are being introduced into prison communities and the results are beneficial to so many! Oftentimes these dogs, once trained, are eligible for adoption. If you have questions about fostering or training at-risk dogs in our area, ask us which organizations we recommend!

Well, at least cats are honest even if they are not the best motivators to workout, lol! Even if they don't support your resolutions for better health, make sure you're keeping up with their wellness needs by bringing your pets in to see us regularly!

Pets still need exercise in the colder months! Be sure that you're taking them for walks as often as possible, and for pets with thin fur coats, ask us for tips on how to keep them warm while outdoors.
