I have been with three for years and held more than one contract at a time. This won't be the case when up for renewal due to limit on tethering. Built for the Internet you say well let's have it. As for renewal and having to pay the same price, though I have effectively paid for my phone shame on you three. Customer loyalty means nothing. There are other networks available and mass many comments such as mine.

Back in July 2010, more than a year before I joined Google, I wrote about my switch to +Android from iOS (http://goo.gl/T7rp). The major reasons? 1. Choice of phones, manufacturers and carriers. 2. Platform momentum in terms of quality and available apps. 3. Being a Web-centric platform rather than a desktop-centric one.
It's interesting to see others see the continued advances Android has made even while the competition remains strong. I am very glad I switched, and that others see the value as well. Nice article.
