Nice! Seeing mixed opinion about this book. But most reviews seem to fall in the middle. I'm curious so I may eventually read the copy I was lucky enough to win! Glad to see you enjoyed it though I am sadden that the added mythology doesn't get much info towards it! I too enjoy mythology and tend to like to know what the myths were about and meant and whatnot! Nice review!

OOh nice! I STILL need to read Ten Thousand Skies Above You! As well as A Promise of Fire! How have I gotten so far behind on everything?! LOL!

Oh nice! I STILL need to read these two!! I think I remembered hearing that TTSAY ended with a cliffhanger so I held off on reading that one until the last book came out! Now i have no excuse as to why they remain unread! LOL! Glad that these two were good ones! I can't wait to read them!

Nice! Starting to see this one around and I am curious about it! Not too many reviews so far but I am definitely keeping it on my radar!

Hmm...now I am feeling hesitant over this one! I think the first review I read might have mislead me a little. But then again, I could be remembering wrong! LOL! I've been on a B&tB retelling kick and had thought I might want to try this one, but now I'm feeling a little hesitant. Guess I'll hold off on it for a bit. But still, very nice review! Definitely going to keep an eye on this one!

And omg! I just read the full version of the original The Beauty and the Beast and wow! I was totally misguided by Disney, but yet, I can't help but love the Disney version more. Probably because I was more exposed to it over the course of my life. (Ironically the same thing happened with Jaws! I watched the movie a million times or so and then finally in high school or middle school, I read the book and was like oh...the movie was better?!) I remember reading a "child friendly/shortened" version of this story as a kid and enjoyed it, but after reading this one? Just wow!

Be sure to pay attention to my blog in the next few days! I'm planning a Beauty and the Beast themed contest very soon! ;)

Definitely glad to see Old as Time makes the great list! I didn't care for her either of the first two in these retold Disney stories. Which saddened me because I love Disney and fairy tale retellings! Her very first fairy retelling was awesome! So that I didn't like her first two books really had me upset. Especially since I wanted to read the B&tB one!

That's a new to me one! I think my only source of historical fiction as a youth were the Dear America Diaries series! I enjoyed those because it was literally a diary, a fake one, but a diary all the same! It was an interesting way to learn about different time periods. I remember reading one about the Oregon Trail and of course Titanic! That one was really kind of interesting to read since we all know how that turned out!
