Okay so I really expected to like this place but I have been twice now and I am not impressed. First of all, this place smells like straight oil when you first walk in the door, like a mixture of all the foods they serve there. They have carpets so I'm expecting that's where the smell comes from, and they have tons of kids in there throwing food all over the ground and carpets aren't easy to get clean. Second of all the portions are soooo skimpy for what you pay for. We ordered the cheese fondue for 4 and literally got the smallest portion of fruit and veggies and a TON of cheap bread that honestly wasn't even good. The chocolate is sickenly sweet and not high quality at all. It tastes like melted Hershey's chocolate. I expected everything to be high quality, based on the prices but it honestly seems like they are skimping a lot on the quality aspect to their food. This is just my opinion and obviously most other people love this place but considering the city it is in, there are MANY other better places nearby. Skip this one.

Great change of pace. Good food in slightly smaller portion, but really helpful and kind staff

I've been here many times and it has been a wonderful experience every time. The food is outstanding and so is the staff.A brilliant place to eat for any occasion.

This place is nice, very modern in design and the music is relaxing. Our server was good, she spoke really fast and was long winded so that made it a bit difficult. The appetizers and cheese fondue were good; definitely the best part of the meal. The main dish was mediocre. The chicken was chewy even when cooking longer than recommended. The service was also very slow, took almost 30 minutes to receive our check after being done. Definitely won't come back without a Groupon. Not worth the price.

I love this place. I have taken my wife here for a few anniversaries. The kids have joined us on occasion, they love it also. Great experience! ! !

I cannot say enough good things about this place! Tonight was my boyfriend and I's 2 year anniversary and both of our first time eating at The Melting Pot! The staff was so friendly and patient, and they went above and beyond to make our night special! Our server, Tom, was the absolute best! He explained everything thoroughly and gave excellent recommendations! Yes, the experience took longer than we expected, but it was just that... An experience! We were so pleased and will be visiting again!

Waited an hour and 40 minutes on our anniversary, and had just then gotten the stuff to cook your main meal in. Service god awful, and drinks too expensive. Don't take my order and then cook me what YOU want because you forgot. Bring me the salad I asked for since you wrote it down! Complained to manager who compted drinks, and walked out before we ate. Ruined my night! NEVER AGAIN!

order the big night out. this is the feature portion of the menu that includes *seasoned meat.* for all whiners complaining about the bland main course, try this and you will see what the point of going to the melting pot is. if you're just going to order plain chicken and cook it in plain bouillion, keep your complaints to yourself. also, huge selection of delicious sauces. try mojo cooking style if you still need some flavor.
