Wasn't impressed, but also wasn't disappointed... Stuck somewhere in between. I had lunch from the lunch special menu and while tasty, I wasn't blown away. The cost to portion ratio was a bit off. I felt like I overpaid. The place was also a bit noisier than anticipated. Everyone was on top of each other so I could hear every conversation around me. Maybe dinner is better, but I can think of other alternatives that I would have preferred.

Classy thai restaurant in a high traffic area. The food was very good. I had the thai garlic with tofu and asked for it to be w/o salt (or less salt) and they were accommodating with that. My dish was reasonably priced, but they do have exotic/complex dishes that may be a bit more expensive. Service can be a tad slow when the place is packed, but it is well worth the wait.

I went to Blue Elephant Trail in West Hartford center for lunch today and enjoyed a positive experience. First impression of the place: sleek-looking restaurant in a great location with some nice outdoor seating available. Soup or salad is included with their lunch menu items, so I started off with a soup which was a good mix of broth and vegetables. I followed that up with a Curry Puff appetizer which was a delightful treat while I waited for my main course. I ordered the Ginger Chicken off the lunch menu, so I was expecting a "lunch portion" but was surprised by how much food actually came out. And not only was it a lot of food, it was delicious! I'll definitely be back here again. Maybe for dinner. Maybe I'll get the duck!

So far, the best Thai restaurant in CT. I personally have eaten at over 50 different places in CT, from cheap to classy, and from inexpensive to pricey. Only downside here is the small 2 person tables have little flat area to it multiple dishes so if you are just 2 party then you should ask for table for 4. Try the frog legs and the duck portion is massive, curry tastes lighter and more fuller than other place I've been in the greater Hartford area.

By far the best thai food in town. Liked the variety. Service is very good. Lettuce wraps and Mango Curry are my favorites. Metered parking available in front of restaurant. If you do not have adequate coins and trying to break a dollar, drop at least a quarter before you leave the vehicle. Otherwise you will get a parking ticket even for 5 minutes of expired meter. I think this is how West Hartford town makes money.
