This place is anything but authentic. The decks and staff are wonderful but the food clearly is prepared for an American palate. Food is heavily and overly seasoned with soy sauce and sugars making it taste more like a French dessert than a Thai dish. Vegetables are used sparingly, the emphasis here definitely is on proteins. There are many, more authentic, and less diabetic-coma-inducing Thai restaurants in the area. Prices are above average here, and portions are a bit smaller. But again, the decor is splendid, they have a bar, and the staff is fabulous and friendly. If you don't mind a heavily Americanized Thai food experience and are more interesting in atmosphere (e.g., a great place to take a date), this is the place for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere, especially if you're seeking authentic Thai food (like King & I and Sweet Basil deliver).

So far, the best Thai restaurant in CT. I personally have eaten at over 50 different places in CT, from cheap to classy, and from inexpensive to pricey. Only downside here is the small 2 person tables have little flat area to it multiple dishes so if you are just 2 party then you should ask for table for 4. Try the frog legs and the duck portion is massive, curry tastes lighter and more fuller than other place I've been in the greater Hartford area.

Wasn't impressed, but also wasn't disappointed... Stuck somewhere in between. I had lunch from the lunch special menu and while tasty, I wasn't blown away. The cost to portion ratio was a bit off. I felt like I overpaid. The place was also a bit noisier than anticipated. Everyone was on top of each other so I could hear every conversation around me. Maybe dinner is better, but I can think of other alternatives that I would have preferred.

Classy thai restaurant in a high traffic area. The food was very good. I had the thai garlic with tofu and asked for it to be w/o salt (or less salt) and they were accommodating with that. My dish was reasonably priced, but they do have exotic/complex dishes that may be a bit more expensive. Service can be a tad slow when the place is packed, but it is well worth the wait.
