Still clearing out the piles and piles of Judges Guild from that warehouse buy a few years ago...besides selling individually I am also selling warehouse lots, just PM me to get shipping prices if you are interested!

Good if you are working conventions and just need some OOP gaming stuff for general stock, or to complete your JG collection with maybe some extras to trade or sell;

Cost is $100 for each set; shipping is $10 in the USA per set, I don't know about international because it would cost quite a bit, so we will stick to USA orders only at this time unless you are willing to pay the flat rate priority overseas rate ($75 a box I believe)

The only shipping I can do on these is media mail, since they will be HEAVY.  Shouldn't be a problem but may take a week or so to arrive.

I'll offer it at least until the end of the month.....when I've cleaned out enough room, or sold down to a certain level, the sale will be over.

If you just want to order items individually and not in bulk, here is the regular sale list:

Every year the NTRPG con sponsors a raffle to help fund the convention.  We lose money every year to bring old school gaming to all the great gamers out there, so no surprise.  This year, however, Doug informs me we are about 250 tickets off the pace!  We have already had a 30% increase in attendence from last year and expect to have a massive walk-up, so the problem is not in number of attendees. I have heard from quite a few people they will buy tickets at the door, and that is appreciated.  Yet our sales to people not attending the con are nearly microscopic.  You do not have to be present to win any of these great prizes!  Last year our Free Trip to NTRPG con was won by a non-attendee.  Please think about dropping $10-$20 on a few $5 tickets if you get the chance! You will be supporting old school gaming and have the chance to win a few great prizes.

Items for the Raffle (additional items will be added as they arrive)

You do not have to be an attendee to win

We just added our newest special guest to this year's NTRPG con....artist Jeff Easley!  Jeff is well known as one of the "second wave" of illustrators for TSR along with Parkinson, Elmore and Caldwell, and his art decorated nearly all the hardcovers from the 80's as well as many module covers, paperback covers, and interior artwork.  I have to say Jeff was one of the ex-TSR guys we were asked about the most, and all it took was an email and a phone call.  Jeff will also have a table at the con where he will display and sell his original artwork.  This yearly nostalgic romp just keeps getting better!!!

The North Texas RPG Con is proud to present our finalists for the Third Annual Three Castles Award for Game Design. This year we have five finalists and I don't envy the judges...all are top notch.

The nominees for 2013 are:

Thanks to all the sponsors for this year's NTRPG con! This is our first year of selling sponsorships for NTRPG Con, and it looks like a success...all six Full Sponsorships sold by February! To continue to run the convention, improve the venue, get more special guests, and run a top flight con in general, we had to have a little cash flow. The sponsorships allow individuals with a product or company to get the VIP treatment from us as the convention continues to grow, hopefully getting a spotlight out on them for their efforts. For us, it allows us to move towards that magic goal of someday breaking even, and we get to continue to put on the greatest old school RPG con in the south! Please patronize the following vendors at the con and outside the con to thank them for supporting gaming in general and the NTRPG con in particular: Lamentations of the Flame Princess (; Noble Knight Games (; Frog God Games (; The RPG Society (; Center Stage Miniatures (; and Pacesetter Games (

Note that if you are still interested in supporting NTRPG con, either to promote your game or product, or just because you want to keep us going, there are several Limited Sponsorships still available (and very affordable). They include sponsoring the Charity Game, The Artist Panel, The Auction/Raffle, and six shifts of the Serving Wench.

Yes, it's that time again, time to accept entries for the Three Castles RPG Design award, sponsored by the North Texas RPG con. This award was presented for the 2nd time at the 2012 NTRPG con, and the winner was the SF roleplaying rules system/supplement Stars Without Number by Kevin Crawford. Last year's winner Michael Curtis was in attendance and was able to present the award!

The award is given annually at the convention and chosen by a panel of five judges with roots in Role Playing Games.  It is our hope that the award will continue to showcase the best in small-press RPG design and shine the spotlight on up-and-coming designers who contribute to the hobby we love.

BTW, the critically acclaimed Three Castles Award winning The Dungeon Alphabet by Michael Curtis will soon be available in a 3rd printing, with new bonus content!

All the info about the award is online at the NTRPG con site. Basically, the item must have been published between September 30, 2011 and October 1st of this year. Three physical copies must be submitted for evaluation by the steering committee, and if you move onto the final round you'll be asked to supply five more copies (we'll try to recycle copies sent to the steering committee if we can to save you money, but that's not a given). Instructions on how and where to submit entries is on the have until the end of the year to get these in, but why wait?

The five final judges this year are Erol Otus, Steve Winter, Rick Loomis, Rob Kuntz and Peter Kerestan. These gentlemen, like the previous judges, represent a breadth of gaming and design experience that covers every part of the industry, from it's earliest days until now.

The award is a beautiful statuette that represents three of the most famous megadungeons from the beginnings of the game...Blackmoor, Greyhawk and El Raja Key.

If you have any questions, post here, PM me, or go to the NTRPG con website and post there. Thanks!
