1946 RWG/Denmark Special -
Designated the RWG after its creator R.Watling Greenwood, this historic racer was originally built in 1935, and used a lighter version of the chassis from a Morris Eight saloon, together with a Ford engine and mechanical components from Morris and MG. The hand made body was made of aluminium, and only two were ever built. In 1946, Dennis and Mark Beere (hence the name Denmark) bought, modified and raced one of the cars, between 1949 and mid'50's , at venues such as the Brighton Speed Trials, Brands Hatch, Silverstone and Thruxton. During this time, RWG himself raced the other car with distinction at similar venues.
