I wanted to wait a week before writing this review. Originally, I was going to buy one online, but a) i couldn't wait and b) buying a bicycle is special to me, and it just seemed wrong not to buy one from the LBS, and c) i believe in buying local always, and nothing beats a traditional brick and mortar mom and pop shop from the old days. The owners, Randy and Sharon, were very pleasant and easy to talk to about cycling. I went in looking for a simple commuter, single speed, and I left with an American Flyer Skinny Benny. After a week, the bike is solid, and its been fun riding about again. I know I'm going back for upgrades and when I buy a 29ner. Great selection of bikes. Totally recommend.

Its a great resource in the city, although I'm not too sure about outsourcing it to a private company was a great idea, but I'll wait and see. Hopefully the proposed new library near the civic center will come through.
