If I was spender I'm not sure if I'd be happy that someone took what I'd been saying for years seriously or if id be pissed that only after certain people decided it was important that people are paying attention.
This LFA antenna is ready for field testing and seems to be working pretty well. I took it to a nearby lookout this afternoon to poke around on the band. It's significantly outperforming a 5/8 wave antenna (by 8+ S points) that I used to think was excellent. I'll probably install wing nuts on the boom clamps and use this as a portable antenna.
