Thank you for inviting me +helebo daniel although I'm not sure what the purpose for you inviting non-believers like me here would be. I see the Community likes to have fun, so maybe you thought I could bring some joy and humor into the group?
I fully respect the rights of Hindus. Christians and Muslims to have their devout beliefs in all their various gods, and hopefully you can all respect my right to be an unbeliever in all those gods as well.
Personally I have chosen the harder narrow path in Life which takes more time and effort to seek good evidence to have Truth, instead of being content to just believe and take man-made stories on Faith as the many BILLIONS of god believers in so many theistic religions do.
I will have to browse through the threads here and see if you guys were sincere about how you are having fun.

peace

+helebo daniel Well, it looks like it was not a good idea for you to invite an unbeliever here, because angry Mr Highest God can not talk in a civil manner to me and just tells me to get out. Doesn't matter to me really, but please be careful who you invite if you guys only want Christians here to pat each other on the backs for your beliefs, and are not up for other questions or comments.
Wishing you love, truth, and peace

Having done so many years of research on the History of the Bible myself to learn where its stories came from, who actually wrote them and why, and all the centuries of manipulations of those writings by men for their own agenda to gain power and wealth, it always amazes me that the Christians I have been speaking with online here for over 4 years now, know very little of how the Bible has become the compilation of stories it is today.
1. Are there any religious people here who are aware that even Christianity itself openly admits it knows there is not one single written record in existence by anybody on Earth that was actually written during the entire 30+ year lifetime of Jesus the Nazarene that even mentions his name once, let alone any corroborating evidence whatsoever for any magic Virgin Birth, doing miracles, preaching to thousands of people, or any supposed Resurrection?
I mean for a magic Supreme Being revealing himself to the world, you would think a few of the tens of thousands of people in Jerusalem, or some of the many Historians actually living during that time like the famous Philo of Alexandria, would have thought to jot down a few lines about all these world-changing supernatural things Jesus was doing, don't you think? We have clay tablets and scrolls down to details like the price of lambs and goats, yet not a word about Jesus. Why did Jesus fail so miserably at getting noticed in his lifetime???

2. After 40 years of in depth research by Bible Scholars, Textual Critics, and other researchers they came to the conclusion that there was zero evidence that any Mark, Matthew, Luke or John, even existed as real people, and it is commonly known that the early Church fathers made up those names and attached them to the writings of basically unknown authors towards the end of the 1st century. In fact it was a deceptive Christian scribe called Papias of Hierapolis who started the present "traditional Christian belief" that Mark, Matthew, Luke and John were the names of the actual writers for marketing purposes to make the writings more personal. So the majority of modern Bible Scholars now admit that the early writings that the Church Fathers later fashioned into the "Gospels" many decades later, are actually by authors unknown. That is in fact what is now taught to prospective new clergy in Seminaries and Divinity Colleges, but it will be a while to have the truth filter down to the congregations on Sunday mornings, and they will probably just let the older generations sitting in the pews keep their present false beliefs for fear of reducing revenue. Here is what is being taught by Yale University's Divinity College to new clergy students on the "Gospel of Mark" in which they teach the author is unknown. :

+Don Tveter Yes, quite funny isn't it. It comes from the Daily Mail tabloid quack news company in the UK. They run stories about aliens kidnappings, famous movie stars found in embarrassing situations, conspiracy theories, and any other inflammatory crazy stuff they know will sell papers to gullible people. God believers love this kind of stuff.

I imagine when you checked it out for authenticity with a few reputable sources you found out it was from a tabloid source too, because I know you would not just accept a story is true because it says it is, right?
This old story has been bouncing around fake news sites for years now and you can read about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jordan_Lead_Codices

Well you know the Christians love buying stories to give them hope their religious beliefs might be true and you wrote a book yourself to sell to them to get a piece of the lucrative Christianity pie, yes?

Looks like a Community started by a young girl last year which she gave up on due to lack of interest. Maybe she saw the light instead.

Looks like you set this Community up inviting tons of random people hoping to get some buyers for your Cogitune.com products. My mind is already tuned enough to detect a selling scam ploy here, so I will say farewell.

Debunking Evolution  -

This seems like a very odd topic section regarding Evolution.  Since the fact is that the majority of Christians in the world already do believe in it, and they accept it because of the abundance of evidence that gets added too year after year,  is this group trying to swing the tide back for Christianity to go back to not believing in Evolution, now?   I don't get why Christians have to squabble and argue about what their beliefs are so much.     peace

+Roses du Monde That's a good attitude, but not all that common with religious people, so if I guessed wrong that you were in a religion I'm sorry. All the Abrahamic religions have a requirement for the followers to make some effort to spread the message and entice others to become converts. But many different denominations exist with varying beliefs and doctrines on that, I guess.

Personally I love and respect all people, but have no need to respect the "beliefs" themselves which are only ideas and opinions that people and groups make up for their own convenience, or some agenda.
There are many beliefs and even many Laws that do not deserve respect, and instead warrant opposition, hopefully through peaceful means. But at times more aggressive efforts are called for! Thankfully, as mankind very slowly evolves and matures in his thinking we do change both beliefs and Laws that were made decades or centuries ago by people who lived in far different times under different conditions, and with a reduced level of knowledge. peace

You can't be spreading Truth, because Christianity is restricted to being merely Faith-based in stories, not Truth-based backed up with verifiable evidence.  It's the same for Islam and Hinduism and their man-made gods too.  Claiming you have Truth when your own religion says it is a purely Faith-based belief system is rather dishonest and deceptive, yes?

Thanks so much +Paul Wayne for inviting a non-believer like myself to be in your group. I am neither a god believer, nor am I a child, so I don't understand why I was invited to your children's group here though. I see you follow a polytheist view of a Gods Kingdom, instead of the customary God's Kingdom. So perhaps this group relates to something like the old Gods of Olympus or the Kingdom of Hindu Gods? Perhaps I will stay a while and see what this community is about. I have studied many religions and in particular have done deep research into Bible History, and also some studying if the original of the stories in the Qur'an. I enjoy exchanging ideas and sometimes I learn some new things from others. peace

The Body of Christ is missing the Mark mostly because it has turned it's back on the fact that compassion, love, forgiveness, respect, self-discipline, and joy are just normal human attributes that originate in the human heart and do not come from magic invisible gods. Instead of just making a wish things were different to an empty sky and calling it a prayer to help someone, how about being a caring responsible human being and making an effort to actually help people in practical ways every day yourself. You do not need a magic god to be a moral, self-disciplined, joyful and productive person.

How to be Saved From Hell!!!  -

How can you possibly lead people to the "KNOWLEDGE" of Jesus Christ, when the religion of Christianity admits it only has BELIEFS about Jesus Christ, and you must just believe believe believe in man-made stories you must take on Faith? Knowledge is based on truth, and truth is the opposite of taking things on faith! Truth is defined that it MUST conform to reality and facts, and truth must have good evidence and proof. After 2,000 years Christians still have failed to find proof the Resurrection even happened, or any verifiable evidence that their magic invisible god even exists outside their deeply indoctrinated minds. Much the same for islam of course.
But feel free to be happy believing in stories, and I do respect your right to do that just as I respect the right of Hindus to do it too. peace

+Gary D I apologize for being disrespectful before but calling me prideful and claiming I said things that I didn't led me to think your goal was just to insult, rather than chat in any meaningful way.
There is no way logically to disprove the negative existence of gods, and YOU yourself can not prove that Allah, Vishnu, Yahweh, or Shiva do not exist either, which makes such questions you started with a waste of time.

I am not an Atheist myself, but I do know that some Atheists might say there is no god referring to the popular Abrahamic styles of gods like YHVH, Jesus, and Allah. Those versions of gods are clearly just copies and composites of god myths from older concepts of what they thought gods must be like long before. Unfortunately the writers still created these newer versions of god in their own image to have lowly human needs like wanting love and worship, no different than Zeus or Apollo, and to have weak human emotions like anger, jealousy and vengeance, like Thor and Mars.
Also, the Abrahamic versions of god often behaved in rather bizarre, immoral and unjust ways in the tales. But having interesting stories was the whole purpose after all for weaving in lessons on keeping order, some basic human morals, and even to have some food preparation and hygiene ideas. Morals like "do unto others"; and "love one another" first appeared in the older religion of Hinduism in the Vedic Texts nearly 1,500 years before the Old Testament writers wrote one single word. So sensible things like "do unto others" were copied into the Bible stories just like it was for all other religions. The masses had no schools, TV or newspapers to learn things so spreading memorable stories was the best they could do.

In Bible times the superstitious illiterate masses still thought gods were the cause of floods, famines, earthquakes, lightning, volcanoes, and they thought as the Bible says that "demons" were what caused disease. Most of us know better today, I think. Personally speaking, for important things in my life, I have never been content to just believe things are true because people say they are, or to take man-made stories from one source on Faith. Many billions of human beings do follow that wide easy path of believing magic invisible gods exist though, and that is their right.
But for me, and more and more people lately, I chose the harder narrow path of doing the work to seek as much good evidence, from as many reputable sources as possible, so that I have proof to know something is true. When you have Truth backed up with verifiable evidence to resent, then you can happily throw away Faith and belief as redundant.
But be happy with your beliefs if they bring you comfort, and that's fine too.
Wishing you love, truth, and peace

Looks like you didn't do your research and instead are stirring up discord among your brethren for your own agenda by using deceptions and lies again.  Your info source, the quack website Natural News is worse than a tabloid newspaper for any credibility or accuracy. Check your facts and you will find that NO embryo cells are in ANY products by any of the companies you mentioned. If Truth is your goal you would delete this video so we will see how much integrity you actually have.
I do agree with you though that the big food companies like Kraft and Nestle ignore public health and sell chemically designed "food" products rather than read food.  All soda drinks do more harm than good, and no health-conscious intelligent person would ever put such garbage in their body.  If a "food product" does not go bad in a year you know it has no food value in it.  lol
