Suicide. It's not something we like to talk about. However, just because we choose to ignore the problem doesn't make it go away.

People living with chronic pain can be at risk for suicide. It's more than just physical pain we are dealing with. Often, we lose important relationships - both with family and/or friends. It's important for us to get the help we need before things escalate to dangerous levels. For those in the lives of someone at risk, we must learn to recognize the signs of suicidal ideation AND to stand by that person - to let know they aren't alone.

Clinical Practice Guidelines for ME-CFS in Alberta, Canada. These should be set at the federal level rather than having to rely on each province to do so. So much time is wasted by having the wheel reinvented over and over and over again. But hey, it is still progress!

Great information on fibromyalgia. I really appreciate +Adrienne Dellwo 's diligence for thorough research. Of course, she also knows fibromyalgia up close and personal, just as we do.

This article was very timely for me. As I contemplate my upcoming move, I also need to consider what type of home I wish to buy. Though my options are limited due to my budget, there are a few things I should consider, ie I know I must have a 1 storey place, it must be in a quiet area, and must be near transit. I also know it has to be under 1000 sq.ft. and have only 1 bathroom.

Are you contemplating moving? Have you already moved? If so, what things did you consider when you chose your place? What things do you wish you had?

Dr. Stein is one of the few ME-CFS specialists in Canada. She has teamed up with Dr. Moskowitz and on May 11th he will be discussing:
"Neuroplastic Transformation:  Using Neuroplasticity to Cure Persistent Pain"

Thankfully they are also making this available as a Webinar. It should be very interesting.

Hi everyone, I wanted to apologize for my absence. Trying to get ready for the sale of my home while dealing with crazy new symptoms has left me with little spare time. Pray that it will sell quickly!

How are you doing?
